The Burrata was just a little scary. Definitely would not order that again. This is not my first time at Cafe vino. The charcuterie board was sad. Who puts peanuts on a charcuterie board and the cheeses lacked taste. The best thing about the meal was the grilled bread and the molten cake. Cafe Vino needs to up their game on things that pair well with wine. Sorry to say I may not go back there again.
Three friends and I were at Café Vino for lunch on May 31, 2025, and we had the best experience. Sam provided outstanding service, and my meal was great! (Blistered Shishito Peppers, Avocado Toast and a good beer.) The atmosphere was nice too. We loved that we could hear each other as we talked.
Thank you!
Loud, unorganized, and surprised at untimely service. I haven't been there in a long time, not sure when I will return.
Actually just came by accident and the lunch was so great! Definitely coming back!
I love cafe vino. The atmosphere is fabulous- cool, hip, yet laid back. They have a great patio- it can be slightly loud just fyi from College Avenue. But this place never disappoints from drinks to small plates to entrees.
Didn’t love our experience here. Food was a little underwhelming. The server pushed the eggplant Parmesan really hard, but there wasn’t anything amazing about it other than the ridiculously small portion of actual eggplant - 3 small discs. The burger was fine. The shishito peppers needed more one on the grill, not to mention some salt.
Helped my friends host their microwedding at Cafe Vino after having several folks recommend it as a great location. The staff and venue truly lived up to and exceeded our expectations. They were so caring, helpful, and thoughtful before, throughout, and after the event. The couple and all of the guests were so pleased with their experiences. The bacon wrapped dates were indeed delicious as was the food on the buffet.
Love this place

Came for a graduation lunch. Food was mediocre at best. $20 for a wagu hamburger that was a frozen patty, overcooked, and was very salty. No beer on tap and then ran out of domestic bottles.

Great setting. The espresso martini was to die for! The grilled brie sandwich was good. However the server was not very attentive.

The food was excellent and the drinks were above average. The service here is slow and somewhat dismissive if they don't know who you are.

Jen and rich are still the owners but ever since they used black walnut culinary consulting they have gone down hill. Why fix something that isn’t broken???
