Yesterday I wouldn’t to get some ice cream with a friend. I am unfortunately unhappy with the service in the making of my ice cream. I ordered a like it cookie dough ice cream. I don’t know who the female was who was making it. I did not get a name, but I was not very happy. She did not mix the ice cream or the cookie dough or Just syrup. I saw she was struggling Getting it all in the small cup. I asked for the small to like it. I paid for my ice cream, but did not pay attention. How much it was. That was my bad. Me and my friend left I ate a couple bites came home stuck the rest in the freezer today. I found out that she put the small cup in a medium cup and I got charged for the large cup. It looks like I am not happy with that. The girl should’ve said something to the cashier said hey I had to put in this bigger cup, but she’s had nothing. She even did not even mix anything up really well. I was not impressed by the service of how she made the ice cream. I think they need to do a better job making their ice cream and better communication.

Yesterday I took my child in to get ice cream. The young man, Gabriel, was exceptionally articulate, respectful, and was just a fun kid to talk to. We had a great conversation. So whoever the manager is, he is a great person.

Unfortunately not the best experience at this cold stone. We entered the building and though there were other employees milling around, we were only helped by a very young man (if I had seen him out and about I’d have put this kid’s age at like 12, but I could be wrong here).
The young man seemed to be new at the job and quite confused and a bit slow at making our orders— not a huge deal in and of itself. When we entered the store we were the only folks in there and hey, we’ve all been new at a job before. Though if he was new, it may have been helpful to have one of the other employees assisting/overseeing him.
I came with my wife and a friend. All three of us ordered a “Like It” size scoop, my wife and friend got a scoop and a topping and I attempted to order a signature creation (The Reese’s Peanut Butter Awesome Sauce). The young man seemed confused by my order and I read it to him off the menu three times, but he unfortunately neglected to add the Reese’s candy, and only added the peanut butter sauce. I chose not to bring it up to the employees as by the time we had sat down a rather large line had formed and the staff seemed to be quite rushed.
My friend ordered a scoop of the chocolate almond milk ice cream and found a long, dark hair in the bowl. Definitely not any of ours as we all have short hair and not even from the young man who served us as he had short blonde hair himself.
Both my wife and my friend used the restroom and mentioned that the toilet separated from the wall when they sat down.
That all said, my wife had no issues with her order and though my friend and I did have issues we still found the ice cream to be of good quality and quite tasty.

This is my neighborhood cold stone and my kids and I love biking here for treats. We came today and I tried to order 2 smoothies and they said they were out of ice and couldn’t make them. I think ice is a silly thing to be out of and we went in fairly early in the day for items on their menu not to be available. I then ordered a strawberry blonde and thought that the ingredients could have broken down a bit more, the graham crackers were really big and were a bit overpowering. There were also 3 ladies working but only 1 helping customers and the line developed quickly. The young lady who helped me was very nice and friendly which I appreciated.

The Owner Sandra H. refused to refund an order that was processed due to a technical error in their app. Was charged $30 for $10 of ice cream that I didn’t even want. Then said she was unable to do anything else. Not a good example of accountability from an owner.

I'm always hesitant to get mix - ins at cold stone because I'm allergic to chocolate, but I mentioned that to the person working (Avary) and she offered to make it in the back for me! Made me feel comfortable with getting what I wanted without any cross contamination! And she seemed happy to do it, which made me feel more comfortable about asking!

My wife and I have loved Cold Stone Creamery since we got married in 2011. We were taking four new people to this type of ice cream place, and they did not know what to expect. They loved the multitude of choices and did not know what to choose, but they made good choices...all of them said they would want to come back and try other flavors!!! I love peanut butter, and I got the peanut butter awesome sauce love it size. It is never ever disappointing. My wife got the "All Lovin' No Oven" flavor which is not technically on their menu, but they looked up how to make it, and it was fabulous as always. The staff here are what set this particular location apart as they were very friendly and knowledgeable. They made the experience for our four new guests very pleasant, and that is one reason they would want to return to this Fort Collins location. I am hungry even thinking about visiting a Cold Stone Creamery really soon. Oh, and if you have never triend their peanut butter ice cream cup cakes, those are the very best. A little expensive, but amazing!!!!!!!

Kid-friendliness: Too many great flavors to count for kids. This place is made for kids as they can watch them make the ice cream right in front of them.

I ordered a gotta have it and it was half full. I asked if he received my order correctly and he said yes and the dish was accordingly. Great place! I’m so appreciative of the recent fundraiser this store did for my grandson’s high school band! They brought in extra staff and donated a significant percentage of sales to the band! The lines were out the door bc these kids were having fun with their friends after working hard in band all year. Thank you Cold Stone Ft. Collins!
