Their produce has always been expensive just like their prepared foods. However, since Covid, they have cut staff, cut stock, cut quality and raised prices. DO NOT think this is the same WF you used to frequent in the 90's and early 2000's. the quality was exceptional, people cared and stock was always there. NOW!? NOTHING is in stock, you order online and get maybe half your items and the quality has nose dived on everything. No care, no quality just high pricing. No more and canceling Prime as well.

Ventured into the realm of grilled octopus, or that was the plan on Friday. Woke up today to start working on my Bday dinner, marinated then grilled OCTOpus( a new adventure) on polenta. This morning I started on the dreaded job of cleaning and washing, and noted rather quickly that I had bought a 21 dollar BIpus. That's right you can buy tentacles only and mine only had two. I told the guy at the fish counter it was my first time and he gladly packed it up and did not tell me it was a BIpus, most of which was head and guts. WF refunded my dough but that's not the point.

Awaiting an online order window for 3 days. They are doing nothing to solve, update, upgrade, expand, or improve the online delivery service. Must go in early as 70 year olds into crowded store with likely a much higher probability of infection versus a delivery system. No pick up service, they are not keeping up at all, not increasing their allocations, and not staffing up for the crisis. If anything, this is a complete disaster in itself. Hoarding is having a bigger impact when you cannot even get basics delivered.

Such a cool taproom and knowledgeable staff that actually know a thing or two about craft beer. And it's located at the front of Whole Foods, so I can do something productive while my wife buys groceries!
