So the food is absolutely delicious, but there is something that is getting to be ridiculous. I paid for a 4 piece tender basket and I got 3 tenders. The prices keep went up, and the size of the food went down, but I paid for 4, and got 3 with hardly any fries. This is not the first time I’ve experienced this either, (it’s been several) but I have chalked it up to error. But unfortunately it seems to be a pattern because it keeps on happening, so something needs to be said.
I don’t want to dock them too much on their ratings, but it seems like I’m really getting skimped out on my food (and possibly others as well); the fact I paid more for more food but received less is just messed up.
The people I interact with are kind and fun, I do want to make that clear. If you order take out tho, double check your order before you drive all the way home.

Employee, Nick Smith, great guy went over and beyond for me and my wife we stopped in for lunch needed one page document printed out. We are not from the area so we walked around downtown. Ask the banks asked everybody said we would pay could not find anywhere But stopped in for lunch. Shout out to Nick Smith. He went over and beyond for us talked with his boss and got us the one page document printed great guy good customer service we will definitely be back.😀😇 the food is amazing and it came out really fast so I got everything done in one spot. I recommend everyone come eat here.

Shrinkflation has reached Comet! Their chicken tenders are tiny compared to this same time last year- we absolutely love coming to this place. Just a heads up that you may need to order twice the quantity to get the same volume.

I appreciate the Gardein vegetarian option for the tenders and honestly I would recommend those over the real fried chicken tenders, which for some reason are always kind of dry.

My new place to come to when I am in Ft. Collins. Crispy on the outside and juicy in the middle chicken strips. Great flavor!!! Sauces on the side, or tossed with strips. French fries and a drink.

Super “meh” overall. The chicken is okay, the sandwich is messyyyyy (not a first date meal, ladies), and the fries are as mediocre as they come. Fun to be in downtown, but **highly** recommend driving a few extra minutes to Music City Hot Chicken instead!!!

This is my new favorite chicken spot. The chicken is perfectly tender and juicy and the Nashville Hot flavor is amazing! The fries are really good and their house sauce brings it all home. Amazing!
This was my first time here and I ordered ahead. The guy said my order couldn’t be released because I was about 10-15 minutes early which was fair enough. I was expecting warm food though and all my food was cold. I don’t get how my order wasn’t ready but it was cold. Also, I paid extra for buffalo sauce and didn’t get it. The guys at the front are nice.

I'm a fan of the Orange Chicken Bowl; they are doing a monthly special. You will not regret going in to get some ❣️ Most places have orange chicken 🍗 but it doesn't taste like Orange 🍊. But here at Comet Chicken it has a strong taste of orange. Love it ❣️

I’ve been coming to this restaurant since I was a student & come back every time I’m back in town. It is delicious every single time - my personal favorite, the Nashville sandwich, is the best in Fort Collins, full stop. It had a genuine kick, the Cole slaw is amazing, and the chicken is always cooked to perfection. I love that they have some fun and interesting sandwich flavors, healthier options like the bowls, or just good old chicken tenders with different sauces. The price point is great, especially for Old Town. I 10/10 recommend to students looking for the best tenders in town, families who want to make everyone in the fam happy during their meal, or people visiting FoCo looking for a quick and solid lunch spot. Also importantly, service is always quick and helpful. (But not too quick, because they actually are making the food in the back!!) My absolute fave!!!
