Dickey's Barbecue Pit - Fort Collins

My wife and I used to come to this location all the time when we lived closer, so today when we were in town we stopped in and let’s just say it will be our last time at this location. It’s noon and half the menu isn’t available, and the food we did get was high school cafeteria food at best. Where did your classic rolls go?

We went to Dickeys 10/14. After our first Dickeys experience in Rifle Colorado. So we thought we’d check out Fort Collins. It was fantastic !! The food was fantastic and the people there were very nice and really made us feel at home. We would highly recommend this place !!! Enjoy. PS All the barbecue sauces are off to the side. So you can enjoy as much as you want.

Women’s bathroom has broken toilet paper dispensers. Ice cream machine has been broken for a LONG time. Brisket is good.

The ice cream machine hasnt worked in several. Both bathrooms have broken parts, TP just sitting on a shelf also paper towel dispenser didn't work. Soap dispenser doesn't work. Place doesn't seem clean at all. Brisket is good although days dry.

I was exited to eat here than I went inside and asked for food and regret the moment the lady up front messed up my order 2 times, asked fir brisked and gave me pulled pork. Than 2nd time they brought out mashed potatoes salad and I asked for Mac and cheese. Meat is super dry place looks dirty. Uggh regret this meal

Growing up in the SE, FLA/GA I was basically bottle feed from the start on BBQ. Now out west, I eat a lot of Dickeys BBQ (Texas style opened in Dallas, Texas 1941) due to the consistent quality of smoked meats and flavor. I like Carolina style with slaw on top but don't like Dickeys Slaw. The 3 sauces are decent all round BBQ sauces vinegar based: Original, Spicy and Sweet. Being southern by birth this is the closest taste to S. BBQ.

The food was great. The service was quick and the counter folks were very nice. We’ve been back several times and will continue to do so.

Went in and ordered a half a pound of pulled pork only. On the menu this clearly shows $11.29.
The young lady that was at the register, said something , the English, unfortunately was not very clear. I inserted my card and then thought what did she say but thought I would just look at it on the screen. Sure enough $22.42 shows up on the screen by that time my card was already inserted.

I said half a pound of pulled pork is not 22.42.
She did not understand what I said, so she turned and asked one of the young men to come over. I said the menu shows a half a pound of pulled pork is 11.29 and he said really.
He then just said I’ve refunded all of it here. Take this. It’s free.
He said the money will go back onto my card.
However, as soon as I left, I called the company that the card is through they said it would be refunded on July 30th. I do not think that is right that I have to wait 4 days to get my money back.
However, I will wait and if it is not refunded on the 30th, I will be going in and speaking with the manager.
Employees need to know what they’re ringing up.
I am very dissatisfied that I have to wait for my refund.
Again, I sure hope this is taken care of on the 30th. If not like I said, I will be going in to speak with the manager to get this resolved.

This is what i got for sliced brisket plate with sausage.Guy insisted it was technically sliced.Im thinking not.Little disappointed

We did a to go order, they gave us the entirely wrong meat with our meat platters even though the ticket on the bag was correct. They didn’t give us any bbq sauce even though we ordered some. We tried to leave a phone message for the restaurant to let them know and the voicemail is full and you cannot leave a message.

Service was good. Food was meh and super expensive. Mac and cheese was watery. Potatoes were good. Meat was cold. All over priced.

Made an online order that they cancelled on me. Won’t be ordering ever again from here

Wow, customer service was horrible, my man just had a quick question and was addressed so poorly.
We left immediately!

Got a DoorDash order with plastic in the potatoes. DoorDash handled a refund, but when I tried to call the store to inform them there is plastic in the food they are serving, whoever answered the phone seemed confused as to what I needed them to do. So eat at your own risk I guess.

(Also, this is the driest sandwich ever because my food came with 0 of the sauces I ordered. Overall unimpressed and will not order again)
