Family has been going here for 30 years we love the food and service. The atmosphere is not fancy but cozy and welcoming. And you won’t get price gauged like other Mexican places in town. My favorite is the menudo!

My parents starting eating at El Burrito in the early 1960's, it was known as Sam's back then. I started with tacos and bean and tortilla rolled up when I was a kid. No I really crave their green chili burritos. I live in Illinois now, so I don't get to eat it as much as I would like. But try stop me when I come, I'd eat luch and dinner every time if I could... Don't forget the sopaipilla's!!! The pièce de résistance!!

Truly the worst Mexican food I’ve ever had. Salsa was like watered down tomato soup, enchiladas covered in gravy rather than enchilada sauce. Not an ounce of seasoning or flavor in sight. It was brutal, and we left as fast as we could.

Consistently great quality, recipes that haven't changed in the 50+ years that I've been going there.

I don’t think I’ll be back. I don’t enjoy getting followed the bathroom and have someone ask me if I’m a customer as I’m trying to go to the bathroom. It was very unnerving. Pretty upsetting to be honest. When I said something about it while checking out there was no apology. Why would I even want to be a customer anymore? I’ll stick with Consuelo’s.
Stop it. Turn around and go home

Still the best Mexican food in town. Grandma Godinez's same recipes. Been going there since College in 1964.
It looks like one of those old, storied places...it just doesn't live up to that. The sopapillas were good, everything else was ok. Nothing to go out of your way foe. I wished I had better things to say.

Friendly service.
Food is NOT good. The rice is bland and the beans taste like they had been fried in old animal fat. Food was brought out suspiciously quick. Just. Not. Good.
