I love this place! There are so many yuppie restaurants in Fort Collins, Ever Open Cafe is a nice, throwback, greasy spoon diner alternative to them. No gimmicks, no virtue signaling, no out of touch nonsense. Just a good place to get affordably priced American food in a laid back, comfortable atmosphere.
This was a fun little place to visit, has a long history in Fort Collins. Food portions were generous, they also had gluten-free options which was nice, I had a gluten-free french toast staff was kind and took the time to visit us. My friend, picked this location for her Birthday breakfast because, she absolutely loves the biscuits and gravy
Ever Open Cafe has been a fixture of North College Ave in Fort Collins for as long as I can remember. I've eaten there on and off for more than four decades. That said, the food is just barely adequate. I had the green chili omelette with pancakes. The omelette had no contents and the green chili was flavorless. The hash browns were good and the pancakes were borderline dry. It's been a few years since I've eaten there, but I remember it being quite a bit better....
