Yum and yum. One of the best kept secrets for catering, take out, and delectable pastries.

While it’s really not saying much, because of the generally low quality of Fort Collins sandwich shops, Fiona’s is the best I’ve found. This, keeping in mind that we’re not in New York or San Francisco. We’re in a relative food desert on the edge of the Midwest.

That said, Fiona’s doesn’t often make mistakes. But while their food quality is generally—relatively—good, I have gotten some stinkers (old, dry bread, orders gotten wrong even though they’re repeated back to me, ingredients missing or sparse).

Still, considering the considerable business they do, their food has never made me sick (rare), they take care of incorrect orders, and generally do a locally good job. And, as mentioned, they’re best of breed here.

One of the better deli’s, I’ve been to since moving out west. Definitely more smiles for the locals to service was just kinda okay. Food was very good though my order was wrong. I just ate it and enjoyed it. Don’t go expecting piled high, New York style deli sandwiches, and you won’t be disappointed. The sweets were better than average. There were a lot of people working and they were very busy for the total number of patrons in the restaurant. It did seem like they have a large number of online orders though so that might be what it should be attributed.

I've been going to Fiona's for years, and after moving away from Fort Collins, I finally got a chance to return while visiting, this time bringing my husband and friends along with me. Having already explored most of the menu myself, I was interested to see what my group thought, as (much to my surprise) none of them had ever been to Fiona's before. The general consensus: This is now a staple spot to eat when I visit.

The portion sizes are incredible. Back when I lived closer, I'd get two sandwiches, a cup of their mac salad, and an extra portion of their sweet potatoes. That would last me all work-week as my lunches, and for the portions, it's comfortably affordable.

The bread is, very obviously, made in-house. All of their baked goods are crazy delicious, and you can taste the quality of the ingredients, but the bread was the delicious conversation holder amongst my group today.

Their sandwich menu is a slightly intimidating 75 items, but the ingredients are simple, and the way they organize it makes it easy to find exactly what you enjoy. My favorites are the Reuben and the Western BLT. I wholly believe that there is a sandwich at Fiona's for everyone, and they're more than happy to accommodate customizations so that you find yourself wanting to leave a 5 star review as well.

I could write an entire magazine article gushing about this place, but I'll leave it with this: If you want a high quality, simple, filling meal, made and served by some of the kindest staff imaginable, Fiona's is a must. Every time.

The caesar salad is healing after a long week at work even if it's a bit expensive. I also really like their tres leches cake, especially the one with almond. Sooo good. Other desserts are only ok. Cake is a bit dry or the filling in pies is too sweet/dense. Staff is always great.

Delicious sandwich, super friendly staff. Chocolate peanut butter cupcake was decent. Cake itself was a little dry and lacking some chocolate flavor but frosting was awesome.
