Genoa Coffee & Wine

The coffee shop itself is really nice with super cute décor, which makes it a cozy spot to sit and enjoy a drink. They offer a large variety of pastries, cakes, and even quiche, which is a nice touch compared to other cafés. I tried the pumpkin latte and it was creamy and flavorful, while the matcha latte was smooth and well-balanced.

My only disappointment was that I specifically placed my order for “here” but was still served everything in to-go containers. On top of that, while the barista wasn’t rude or mean, he really didn’t show any customer service skills, which made the overall experience feel a little flat.

Hopefully, these small things can be improved, because otherwise it’s a charming spot with great drinks and a tempting pastry selection.

We love this spot for their great bagels and good coffee. But the service, or lack thereof makes this a hard spot to recommend. I came in this week and there were 5 people in line and it took about 20 minutes to order. Of the 5 people in line, the barista had to remake 3 of the drinks because they were incorrect. Both of the employees working were rude and dismissive and barely acknowledged customers. I really hope they can improve their service because the food is good!

Started coming here because it's close by, but I keep coming back because you really cannot do better than this place. The food and drinks are delicious and so affordable, especially when compared to anywhere else in Fort Collins. I think some people mistake the male baristas quiet nature for rudeness, but I think it's kind of refreshing, especially when you haven't had your coffee yet. Excellent customer service too. You'll be seeing me a lot.

Excellent quiche Lorraine with a flaky crust and rich flavors. The iced chai was thirst quenching and delicious. Very smooth and flavorful. A wonderful lunch.

Gourmet Italian coffee shop. My friend gave me a bite of her quiche..light and fluffy, my blueberry muffin was moist and thick. The chai was creamy and smooth tasting. Tranquil classic atmosphere. Coming here next time for the quiche. 💖💖💖

I love this cafe! It is in my neighborhood, so I frequent it often. I’ve never gotten any hot foods, but their muffins are TO DIE FOR (specifically the pumpkin chocolate chip one).

As others have mentioned, the main barista is fairly standoffish and not the most friendly guy, but I’ve been here enough to know it’s nothing personal and that’s just how he is. The lattes are really tasty, and they are the most affordable I can find in town.

The only downside of this place is they are closed on Saturday’s, which tends to be when I’m craving a little morning treat.

I came into Genoa Wednesday, April 23 around 2:30 PM. The first thing I want to say is that I was treated very poorly by your staff. The young man who was in the middle of making coffee didn’t even bother to say anything to me while I’m standing at the counter for 5 minutes . Not a simple “I will be right with you” No acknowledgement I even exist. Just completely ignoring my presence and yes he saw me. He then comes over with a face and makes zero eye contact while asking what I want while he’s looking at his phone. He seemed almost annoyed. I then realize he is preparing to put the order into his phone, but still ….. you don’t make any eye contact at all with a customer? I then ask about a cake that is right in front of his face on the counter and he responds that he doesn’t know what kind of a cake it is. How do you not know? There is nobody to even ask? To top it all off, my friend left her pocketbook on one of your outside chairs. We were halfway home and as we turned around to come back we frantically called your establishment to ask someone to please go outside and get the bag. That didn’t work though because you guys don’t even answer the phone. We left a message but nobody returned the call. This is actually the second time I have been treated rudely by your staff and ignored at the counter. You need more staff if you can’t have someone dedicated to the counter and nobody is answering your phone.

Addendum: I see the owner has responded indicating if I leave a tip and encourage the barista I would get better service. Surely you are joking. I am an incredibly nice person who is always pleasant and leaves tips. Your server deserved no tip. I shouldn’t have to fawn all over your barista to get good service. And I did try and say hi but he wouldn’t acknowledge my presence. Nice to take accountability. Very professional of you.

I've been here a few times and it's always been alright. I usually just grab a bagel. I was the only person being helped today, there were a few people sitting with their drinks but as far as I know, I was the only order being worked on. I didn't see what my bagel looked like until I opened it up 5 min later in my car and was shocked. I couldn't believe the guy made that, saw it and thought it was fine to continue with. the top half wasn't as burnt but he also decided to not butter that half. slightly frustrating. also, I should note, I did leave a tip.

Such a lovely cafe with great drinks, pastries & a nice atmosphere! I I highly reccommend the golden milk latte too!

Excellent place to hang out and relax with excellent coffee and smoothies. The baked goods are fantastic and the staff is friendly! Highly recommend!
