I've been to Island Grill a bunch of times, and this was probably my least favorite. Their fish and chips used to be awesome, but for some reason, they changed how they make them, and it tasted like a frozen fish stick. They definitely don't deserve to be considered one of the best in Fort Collins anymore. Great wings, service was good, but everything else wasn’t worth the price at all. Felt like we were living in an episode of bar rescue. I would come back, if it was just for a drink.

We came by for a quick lunch and they had just opened, there was only one server that had opened a little early. She was slammed for an unexpected lunch crowd and we were worried that it was going to take a long time. We could not be more wrong. Tansy was our server and she handled the crowd like a pro! She took on 6 tables all at once and never missed a beat! Great food and quick service!
