Good fish, tasty rolls, nice atmosphere , good service. Been here a number of times. Food is always good, service is usually good. We like Japango and will be back!

We had a wonderful time celebrating my wife's birthday! Our hostess and server were both very attentive and helpful. I have celiac and our server Chris was so knowledgeable on how the modifications were made and reassuring of making sure there was no cross contamination. He was also very wonderful in assisting us with drink choices and good rolls that would pair together well. We will be back!

Japango is an amazing addition to the Fort Collins food scene. I've been there 3 times and the service has been top notch. The food is fresh and interesting. The selection of dishes and drinks is first-rate. Keep up the good work, Japango.

Loved the food and selection, we were able to try sashimi that isn't as available at other places in town (Otoro, ocean trout). The black miso cod was decent, our piece was a touch on the dry side but had good flavor. The menu is definitely big enough that we'll be back and ready to try new some new options next time.

I would like to start by saying my wife and I came here for our anniversary because of the reviews. Sadly we were severely disappointed. The atmosphere and service is ok however the plates at my table were not washed properly. I also found the menu very odd, all of the special rolls have asparagus in them. I did not find any normal rolls here, I am not sure if that is a cultural thing but find it very very odd. We then decided to leave without ordering anything as it would be a waist of money. I also found the menu to be incredibly overpriced for the food I was seeing come out of the kitchen.
I had high hopes and was disappointed, we will not be returning in the future.

Worst service I have ever had in my life. Took over an hour to get food for our friends birthday dinner. Then Morgan refused to split our bills more than 3 times for a party of 12. On top of all of that the waitress added 20% tip automatically for horrible service. Ridiculous, do not go here.

We loved the gyoza and would order it again. The tofu with mushrooms, while tasty, was just way overrated and we couldn't finish it. The handrails were fun and unexpected. Not shareable. It's like having a single ice cream cone made of nori. Definitely still pricey on happy hour.

You can get some exceptional sushi here, but the portions are small, and the price is sky high. In particular, the alcohol prices are clearly gouging. I would the service is not great either. It has taken as long as 1 hr 45 min to do a lunch here. Can be maddening.

Don’t be 5 mins late on a Thursday! We had a 9:30pm reservation which they CANCELLED while we were en route..didn’t call or notify us until we showed up and were simply told..”sorry, we canceled your reservation because you were running late and the kitchen wanted to close”. We were 5 mins late! Every other place gives 15mins grace period so we weren’t stressing about mildly missing the mark.
Let me be clear, this is a painful review to write because they have great drinks and great sushi but…come on people! That is unacceptable customer service and they need to have awareness about this.

Great late night spot to eat at. Sushi was delicious and they had a buy one get one half off deal for late nights. Very clean and big interior you don’t feel cramped here. Will be back some time.
