One of my favorite restaurants in Old Town! We eat here at least once every couple of weeks and their rolls are consistently good. Such a cool atmosphere too! Highly recommend!

The food and drinks are very good. We had appetizers, sashimi, sushi, Maki and all were very good. Particularly the Maki. I like my sashimi cut a bit thinner and I think the food in general could have had a bit more spices but we're use to spicier Japanese food. The service was great. The staff was very helpful with suggestions both for liquors and the food. They did a great job with one gluten free member. Everyone was very friendly. Very attractive restaurant. Great value!!!

My second time here, same situation… The atmosphere is truly impressive—it’s a beautiful, sophisticated space that sets high expectations. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. The food was average at best. While the ingredients were fresh, there was nothing exceptional or innovative about the dishes, especially considering the steep prices.
Service was equally disappointing. It felt as though we were inconveniencing the staff just by being there. We waited over 30 minutes for someone to take our order, and after requesting the check, it took another 45 minutes to arrive. To top it off, for our party of six, gratuity was automatically included—a real surprise given the subpar experience.
You’d be better off heading to any average sushi spot in town, where you can enjoy comparable food at a fraction of the cost with far better service. I’m happy to splurge on great meals at places like Little or Madre, but Japango was simply a waste of time and money.

Service was terrible. Waitress was slow, inattentive and frankly seemed like she could care less until she delivered the bill. It was booked as my son's birthday with friends and she could not even muster a happy birthday until he was gone. Sushi was good, the appetizer's were ok but not special except the steak, and brussel sprouts were a hit. We may have felt different if the service was great but would not recommend or return for overall quality of the experience.

Went for my husband‘s birthday, which also happened to be a great day to go for Monday Happy hour! The waiter was awesome, very knowledgeable, friendly and fun. Our drinks were really great. I had a Serrano cocktail which was delicious. The brussels sprouts were a tad bit on the salty side, but still tasted quite good. The sushi we ordered was amazing. Like most quality sushi places, this is on the pricier side, but it was a great place to go for a special occasion. Can't wait to go back again.

Excellent sushi in Northern CO - super fresh and well-presented. Servings were ample and table service was great/friendly. But waiting to be seated - not so much. Three staff members walked right by us, barely acknowledging us and definitely not letting us know that someone would help us soon. Would have been a solid 5-star rating if not for that initial impression, sadly.

We've been lucky to get to know some of the staff as they are super friendly & go above & beyond to make it a great experience!! Hayden is our favorite but we have never had a bad experience!! Oh & SO YUMMY!!!!

We had a wonderful time celebrating my wife's birthday! Our hostess and server were both very attentive and helpful. I have celiac and our server Chris was so knowledgeable on how the modifications were made and reassuring of making sure there was no cross contamination. He was also very wonderful in assisting us with drink choices and good rolls that would pair together well. We will be back!
