It was my first time going - and it was an incredible experience!! Enjoyed the corner booth with a good friend and was so pleased with the service, food and ambiance!
My favorite place. They made our rolls into a heart for my boyfriend and I's anniversary :)
Highly recommend Japango Fort Collins. An elevated sushi experience with top quality ingredients. The service and ambience is also top-notch.
We have been there a few times and has always been top notch best sushi place but this time not up to par rolls not staying together and cold dumplings.
The best sushi in Northern Colorado! It's such high quality and the service is excellent. And the mocktails 😍
Japango has been our go-to sushi spot in Fort Collins since it opened. Amazing service! Amazing sushi! Amazing happy hour! And the staff couldn't be more friendly. See you again soon, Japango!
**Only one minor hiccup—**we ordered a Plum Wine Saketini, but the bartender declined to make it, saying he wasn't sure of the ingredients. I let our waitress know it's just equal parts vodka, sake, and plum wine. She later said the bartender looked it up but couldn't find a recipe and didn't want to make something we might not like, especially if he had to charge for it. That felt a bit overcautious—it's just three ingredients, and plenty of recipes are available online that could have helped.
Our go to place in Fort Collins for high quality sushi and Japanese cuisine with service to match.
We we're celebrating our wedding anniversary and chose Japango. The atmosphere was very impressive as well as the staff and hostesses. Our server was very attentive and gave us wonderful suggestions which were amazing. In honor of our anniversary they brought us saki to start and a dessert of truffles and strawberries. Very sweet touch. Thank you for making our anniversary so special!! ❤️❤️
Good food and nice server who was very attentive. Food was slow and dishes/cutlery not that clean.

The food did not taste fresh. Greatnlocation & VERY grateful that they accepted our reservation. They did a very special desert for my son whom had just graduated from CSU. I had the tuna tatami. Not fresh or great
We loved the vibe, the service, the food and the drinks. And we usually don't mind spending $$ to have a great experience. But this place really hits the highest price point on everything. We spent $30 on a plate of very thinly sliced sashimi, where we basically shared 3 bites each. Some cocktails $20+. Our bill (for 2) was $240 w/tip. We'll come back again, maybe just for a special occasion, but too expensive for just going out to dinner kind of thing.
We enjoyed everything we ordered. It was the first time we had been there and we will be back. Service was attentive and prompt.
Beautiful interior and good staff, but sushi was just O.k. we left with a "meeh" feeling. Other places have better food.
Japango in Fort Collins has become our go-to place when we're in the mood for sushi. The ultimate test is the quality of the nigiri and sashimi, and Japango is the best we've had since the owners of our previous favorite decided to retire after 35 years. We occasionally try other sushi places, but so far none compare. It is tough to rate the "value" of a sushi restaurant, because good sushi is seldom cheap, and cheap sushi is seldom good. If that makes me a sushi snob, then so be it...
