Los Tarascos Restaurant

The only reason this restaurant is getting two starts instead of one is because the server was amazing, and the food did taste really good. This was my first time here. I got the Birria tacos- the weekend special and unfortunately I got food poisoning. I was in on Sunday night, it’s closed Monday so I called Tuesday morning. I asked to speak to a manager to see about letting them know and also to ask for some money back because I got so sick. She basically told me that I was wrong but sorry you didn’t feel well. That is ridiculous. She was telling me that it wasn’t food poisoning because other people would have called. So I call the next day yall were open and no one else has called? Maybe that’s because you were closed the whole time? So she tells me oh sorry you felt sick but it wasn’t food poisoning. Girl I know what food poisoning is. Then I asked her soooo what about the $70 I paid for food poisoning? So then she says she can refund me the tacos. Great. So I tell her the name that was on the card (it’s my work card so it’s not my name) and she breezes by that and asks for my name so I give it to her and asks me to spell it. Then I tried telling her the name on the card again and she cut me off and said I’m sorry you weren’t feeling well yesterday. No apology like “I am so sorry you had a bad experience and that happened. Look, what can I do to make it up to you?” No “I am sorry this happened in our restaurant but I want to make this right” I’ve worked in restaurants for a long time. I know how to solve these problems. This manager needs training. Never eating here again. Oh also, I never got a refund for the tacos.

We love the salsa bar and the different mole options are great. Amazing food. We sat outside and it was so enjoyable. We love going there when we are in town for a date night. Drink specials are great to! Highly recommend its worth the parking ...

I had the rellenos and they were delicious. We had a party of 12 and everyone enjoyed their meal. Our waiter was exceptionally attentive.

Great for quick, flavorful meals in a relaxed setting

the enchiladas and carne asada and the salsa bar was awesome! And Yvet was the best very polite and helpful

I had the enchiladas tarasco it was so delicious, yvet was a wonderful server she was very kind & was making sure we got everything we wanted. i will definitely be back! Wonderful customer service! :)

Been coming for years and remain regulars. Lady's Night is a great deal and the Birria Weekends are a knockout. We especially love all of the staff and in particular wanted to give Yvette a shout-out. Recommended!

It gets a little loud in here but we usually sit at the bar to avoid it. Their salsa bar is excellent and they have really thick chips. Their rosemary carne asada is my favorite. Drinks are consistent. This place is solid.. its not over the top but its good.

My sister and I came here on a whim after hearing about the amazing food and salsa bar! However, the service was amazing as well. Joselynn was our server and she was attentive, polite, and recommended us things on the menu! She definitely made us feel so welcomed, and because of her we will definitely be back!
