As a transplant from New Orleans, this place instantly reminded me of home. The food was packed with flavor, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. It’s rare to find a spot that captures the heart of Louisiana so well, but this café truly does.

Lucile’s is hands-down one of the best spots on the front range for New Orleans–style comfort food. Everything I had was outstanding.

I ordered the Cajun omelette, and it was perfection — fluffy eggs packed with spicy Cajun sausage and bold, savory flavor. Every bite was rich, satisfying, and deeply comforting.

The biscuit deserves its own shout-out: enormous, perfectly baked, and paired with gravy that was creamy, flavorful, and just the right amount of spicy. It was so good I honestly could’ve made a meal out of just that.

The only real “complaint” is how popular this place is — it fills up fast. Get there early or be ready to wait, but trust me, it’s absolutely worth it. That’s only reason I’ve taken a star away in “atmosphere” is because of the small quarters.

If you’re craving authentic, soul-warming New Orleans food in Fort Collins, Lucile’s is a must-visit.

Excellent restaurant in Fort Collins if you are looking for authentic Louisiana home cooking. Everything was delicious and the waitstaff was friendly and attentive. Would definitely eat there again.

The food is pretty good. I had the shrimp po-boy and it was awesome and their sweat potato grits are incredible. However, it is very crowded and loud and our waiter made multiple mistakes. She forgot our beignets and had to remind her twice. She forgot 2 of our sides, and forgot to mention that CORNBREAD IS NOT SERVED ON THE WEEKEND! All things considered, it is a very cute cafe, the food was okay, and the service was atrocious.

Lucile’s is a creole dream nestled in the heart of Fort Collins. The vibe is family home, the service is prompt and super warm, and the kitchen is on top of their game. The dishes are classic and delicious, without any fussiness, and the portion sizes are generous! Never ending coffee refills during breakfast service never hurts, either. The dining room is both ample and cozy at the same time. If you’ve ever dined in New Orleans then you will feel right at home. And I would never have guessed after my first visit that there are several locations throughout Colorado. Highly recommended.
