Madre has curated an amazing atmosphere with great food, divine cocktails, and 5-star service. We sat at the bar for hours while Cesar crafted several amazing cocktails for us. I will be back and will bring several of my friends the next time.

Came in for a business dinner and can wholeheartedly say, this is one of the best restaurants in the city. Get the El Jefe cocktail, get the augachile and the ceviche, had the duck confit carnitas enchiladas and the charred octopus entree and can't decide which was better because they were both perfection. The coconut banana the flan was the literal perfect finish. Bravo chef

The food was overpriced and terrible. There were flies everywhere. We did not get acknowledged when we walked in despite the restaurant being nearly empty. Messaged management last week and they never responded.
Was in town for a college visit with my son and some friends. Visited on a Friday night and sat outside on the beautiful patio. The restaurant is beautiful, and a really cool vibe. The staff is super attentive and friendly and offered suggestions. We all loved our food, as everything was super fresh, properly spiced, and beautifully presented. I ordered the enchiladas hongos and they were amazing. They were somewhat lukewarm when served but the flavor made up for the temperature. While we all enjoyed the food quality and fun vibe, I have say that the food portions are TINY. My enchiladas as the only exception as they were perfect. But everything else we ordered was super small, served on a huge plate. When you have 3 teenagers dining with you, this wasn’t the best place to eat. My son ordered 5 tacos as his original order of 3 just didn’t cut it. Normally you’d think you would get a side of some type to help fill you up. But you literally order a taco and it’s just a tiny taco you can eat in 2 bites. Another in our party got the ensalada madre and it was about 4-5 bites of food. The guac was super fresh and so yummy but it came as a little dollop in a tiny bowl resting on top of a bed of lettuce. So, while the food was so delicious, I would probably not go back here as I felt the prices are way too high for the small portions.

I wish the food was better. 2 of us ordered the Barbacoa. This is only a large chunk of meat nothing else but 3 corn tortillas. Very dry could barely swallow the meat. Not impressed especially for the price. It said it was GF and I asked our server as I am Celiac. But after leaving I started to feel the pain and would not trust the food here if you have Celiac.
