Wonderfully intimate setting. Great acoustics. The layout is attractive. The bar could benefit from implementing a designated place for people to order drinks. But the drinks are tasty and crafted with care. What an amazingly modernized staple of our town.

What an amazing outdoor bar and seating area, it may be just as big as their interior!Bartenders are on point with their orders and tabs in such a loud environment. Thank you two for kicking butt tonight.Not a quiet place for a first date, definitely and fun place for your group of friends or a mrrtup like iurs.

The food is very hit or miss. The soft pretzel (pretty easy) was so stale I could hardly eat it. Other items on the happy hour menu are better.

The menu is small but mighty - prices are legitimately reasonable, especially for the serving sizes. And the food is so good. Went for drag bingo - so fun!
Some old friends of mine from Lawrence, KS played here a couple of weeks ago and we had a great time. Cold brews and heavy pours on the Bullit. A good time was had by all.

The Elizabeth hotel is awesome, Magic Rat not quite as much. The space is okay, it's a little awkward for a music venue. It's kinda upscale and the typical clientele sort of reflects that. Maybe it's just the shows I've seen there? The last show was weird for me because there was a fair amount of house lighting and the people dancing were dancing like my grandparents. That's probably great for some people, but it's not my jam. I prefer Washington's or the Aggie.
