We invited people to join us for drinks. Our party got up to 12 people. I was told when I was getting another table that we should have called first and that they had karaoke going on that evening. Keep in mind it wasn’t busy and it’s a bar. I’ve never called ahead to a bar unless it was a Christmas party or special occasion. We had no idea who would come. A year ago I did call to reserve some tables for a retirement party ( a month in advance) 20-30 people. Was turned away and told we couldn’t have it there due to staffing. Not a welcoming experience. The other 2 bartenders were great. Apparently this establishment doesn’t want any new buisness as they only cater to their regulars.

The staff is great however the manager doesn't seem to appreciate our business. Last year we wanted to have a retirement party there and she told us no so we took our business elsewhere, she was upset and rude last night because we didn't make a reservation for 12, my family was celebrating my daughter's birthday. I spent over $100 we all spent money in there. We would've been perfectly fine going somewhere else I guess she doesn't like making money. Our waiter was awesome and welcoming could've gone without the managers rudeness to my family.

First time to attend that place had a wonderful time. It was a great atmosphere. Just really good people go there..
Driving through on a Sunday morning, we had seen this bar with several cars. You know they have to have decent food. We had gone inside and everyone was watching a broncos game. Very comfortable feeling and the service was great 😃. I ordered a breakfast burrito and I swear 3 people would be completely satisfied with it there was so much to eat. If I was a local, it would definitely be my spot.

Bartender/server was good however food was trash. Fried mushrooms should be stuffed, everything besides that was clearly frozen. Sad. I don't appreciate going out for a meal and being served frozen food, which is worse than what I could make at home. Do better.

We played pool and just chilled.. The only down side is they don't serve pitchers!!!! W.T.F!! LOL. 8.5-10! WELL BE BACK.FOR SURE!

Terrible service! Took over 20min for a greeting. Sure good food at times unless it comes out cold(not chefs fault) because the servers are talking to the so called regulars instead of taking care of guest.
Just had breakfast at Matt’s for the first time. Ordered a Coke and it tasted horrible. Asked for another one. Bartender said sometimes the grenadine leaks into the fountain boxes. Brought another coke out. It was just as bad. Asked to switch to Mt. Dew, it was undrinkable. Asked if they had anything in a can? Only had ginger ale. Asked if they had orange juice. Yep, but it comes from the gun as well. So I passed on orange juice. Gave up and asked for water. Bartender filled it from the gun as well. Yep, it was gross also. Guessing they don’t clean the gun very often!
Food finally showed up after 30 min wait. I ordered a chicken fried steak skillet. What was delivered was a chicken fried steak and eggs. Wasn’t going to wait another 30 min for what I actually ordered. Do yourself a favor and drive past this place like the other thousands of people a day!

Best dive bar in Northern Colorado, it really exceeded our expectations! Great atmosphere, great service, great food! Fort Collins bars often miss the mark but this one was the perfect place. We’ve been looking for a nice bar with a small town vibe and we found it and love it! If you like drinking in the Midwest this is the bar for you!
