I hadn't been here in years. Steve the owner was there loading wood in the smoker. The BBQ brisket is the best I've ever had. Better than any of those places with BBQ in the name. Service spot on and friendly. Great BLT . Good onion rings.
Its a dive bar and its great. There was a table of old men playing poker. The customers are nice and helpful. Its a fun place with outstanding food.

It’s been many years since I’ve had the opportunity to eat here, with that said I used to swing in for the fish tacos and the owner made his non alcoholic concoction of I what I believe was a mix of Dr Pepper, cherry, and lime, drink which I still think of. Super friendly, unpretentious and genuine. Always nice to eat at a place and get exactly what you expect, which is hard to find these days. They had these great hot sauces in which I still try to find but can match the taste anywhere. I believe the owner said it was a special sauce which was hard to get and what I hope to gain out of this is if the owner or anyone else knows the name of those wonderful little sauces, I would be very grateful. When I come back to visit I’ll be sure to stop in and give my thanks.

It really depends on what you are looking for. This is not a culinary oasis but the food won't make you sick either... its kind of a clicky hang out joint so if your not inside you may not feel comfortable there... its ok.. its nothing memorable. We live nearby and have been here twice over the years.. nothing we experienced motivated us to return with haste.

Smelled the wood smoke and stopped in random for a beer mid-ride, thinking it was gonna rain. Ended up with a brisket sandwich lunch special. Quality food and nice people. I’ll be back next visit , Great local spot!

Phenomenal! Food was SO good! Our server was super sweet! I will definitely be back. I will say it was a tad bit chilly inside; I think the a/c was on high. We also wanted to sit outside on the patio but there wasn't a big enough table for our party of six.
