Mr. Yo’s Donut

Mr. Yo’s donuts are the best, always fresh every single morning and always delicious. Make sure to get there early to ensure you get a doughnut as they sell out quickly. I love the chocolate doughnut with the chocolate chips and their croissant doughnut amazing.

I’ve moved away but I need to make sure I have this place 5 stars. I lived on Elizabeth for ages and just decided to waltz in one day.

My favorite standard glazed donut is probably still Lamar’s. I know, it’s a chain, but it’s kind of my reference point to which I compare local CO shops. And let me tell you: this place has something better. Much better.

Enter the the panko crusted glazed donut which is perhaps my favorite donut ever. It adds a nice crunch to an already delicious basic glazed donut and the panko crumbs seem to increase the surface area for the glaze. It’s definitely what I’d recommend trying—and it’s unique, haven’t found it elsewhere yet. This is my favorite donut shop in town.

The cinnamon roll donuts are good too.

10/10 go here and don’t go anywhere else

If you are going to randomly take 4 days off for the 4th of July the least you can do is update your hours of operation.

the place close too early, the donut itself is okay but the icing is chewy 😅 overall over priced

Show up at 11 am and only 1 donut is left they are open until noon and they couldn't even get me a dozen donuts. Don't waste your time here. I've been here numerous times and they've had ZERO donura how are you going to be a donut shop and have no donuts?!?!

We just did a donut taste-off (LaMars vs Mr. Yo's). We got an Old Fashioned and a Glazed from each place and four of us rated them on taste, smell etc. LaMars won by a long shot. Meanwhile, half of us spit out and threw away our Mr. Yo tastes.

When you enter Mr. Yo's, it smells like a restroom / cleaning fluid....no smell of donuts. The atmosphere is a bit institutional and cold. The donuts smelled like wonder bread and had almost no taste...just a slight chemical taste. Definitely do NOT recommend Mr. Yo's!

I have gotten donuts here twice, and they all taste delicious. Most importantly they are all fresh tasting! I love the choice to fill them with any three fillings they offer on the spot. You could create some really delicious combinations. Also, the prices are really reasonable, especially with student discount.
