WARNING: Health code violations

I worked there. I keep everyone away based off how terrible I felt the health code standards are in the restaurant. This along with how tyrannical I felt the new owner, Deborah, is is the reason I quit. I run restaurants for a living I don't think ive seen such an out of shape kitchen. And the owner in all her bravado seems to not know a thing about food or drinks.

Wish you made me sign that nda, Deb?

I was here several times under the previous owner, Chris, when it was still Obstacle Brewing. Everything was great, food was tasty, service was prompt and friendly, vibe was nice.

I went back recently and everything has changed for the worse. I could tell the staff was trying their best, but the place was a total mess. The food has absolutely tanked in quality, and the menu was super confusing. Why is everything "build it yourself"? That can be nice for a burger or sandwich, but not everything on the menu.

Under the previous ownership, the beer menu was good and simple. They've started to expand to a full bar, which you think would be a good thing for non-beer drinkers, but it's obvious that they've stretched themselves too far and now it all sucks.

Also, why is the music so damn loud?

Zwei across the street is waaaaaaay better.

The beer is just fine, and service adequate but honestly Zwei is right across the lot. Might be a little more worthwhile

Great spot, great beer, great food

Really enjoyed this brewery. All of the beer is very solid. We didn't have an experience with 17 different ipas and two different types of actual beers. They had a good variety of all types of beers. They had red and IPA even a tea beer which was my favorite. I also had the jalapeno Jack burger with the raspberry and jalapenos and it was very good. Could have used a little bit of cream cheese just to add a bit of creaminess to balance everything out. But other than that was very good. My little brother had the turkey sub which he also really liked. The food wasn't greasy. It was prepared quickly and the staff was very friendly, very homey atmosphere.

Great food, great beer, and they have always supported local non-profits. Some of the best fried cheese curds around.

The beers on selection are all very good quality - and the barman helped me decide which one to drink, by giving me samples of all of them!
The Hamburguer is also very good and tasty.
Finally, the people there are very nice, chatty and friendly. Definitely one of the best pubs in Fort Collins!

A marvelous Brewery in the south part of Fort Collins. Have the detour, orange vanilla cream ale with oranges and a hazy IPA with an Obstacle burger. The beer was great and the food was delicious ?
Michael was a great bartender and got me everything I needed to have a great Sunday funday!!!

2nd stop on our pub crawl took us from Zwei Brewery - which was amazing - right across the street to Obstacle Brewing. The vibe was warm and welcoming. The staff was knowledgeable and helpful and the food was fresh and awesome. We shared a BBQ bacon burger and side salad…fantastic! And who doesn’t love a brewery with a mission? They support local nonprofits, and have great beers too! My husband enjoyed the Vice Tea which offered a unique mix of Vienna and Munich hops, and I loved the Detour orange vanilla cream ale. I finished with the Gridlock Gose which was BlackBerry Mango and enjoyed that I could taste both flavors without being overpowered by a sour punch. My husband enjoyed the Glass Ceiling Dirty Blonde. Take time for a stop, they are great!

My best kept “secret” in Fort Collins. Sure there are a ton of breweries in Foco but Obstacle has its own charm and their beer and food are great!

Drank and ate here for the FIRST time! Great spot a coupon in the Valuepak introduced us to! The food was good the beers delicious. Emery was an amazing waitress! No problem to have a taster before committing. She had perfect timing and was friendly. Atmosphere is modern and comfortable. We will return!

My boyfriend and I came here as a date night but were left disappointed. The service was fine, but the issue was, we paid about 10 dollars for a mediocre spinach dip, and 18 dollars on a pizza that looked like it came from a Chucky Cheese. I had a burger and side of fruit. The burger was alright, but the majority of the fruit was obviously canned. The beer was okay, but the bill came out to be around $60. For the quality of the food and price we will not be back.
