We had a fantastic time at Penrose Taphouse for New Year's Eve with our two kids (8 and 5). The atmosphere was perfect-relaxed and just the right vibe for a chill, close-to-home celebration. I had the grilled salmon, which was delicious, and my husband enjoyed the Hanks Hot Honey fried chicken. When we went in it wasn't too busy by the time we left it was Very busy Not enough weight staff so took a while to get things from our waiter Food was Okay but the artichoke Dip was very very good
Menu is great. I asked the waiter about a burger that i know DC oaks had. He helped me create it there. The food was great and appetizers were delicious. The drinks are good. Support this very local friendly place.
