This is my new favorite restaurant in Fort Collins - incredibly flavorful, plentiful, and well spiced food with a wide variety of options, charming and friendly service, and a cozy atmosphere. Hanna is also so kind, be sure to chat with her after you clean your plate if she has the time!

Raskas has been one of my favorite spots in Fort Collins since I moved here 5 years ago. The owner is an absolutely wonderful and friendly woman who cooks all the food fresh. Her love and warmth shows through her cooking and it feels like you are getting a family meal. The food warms the heart and the flavor is to die for. Highly recommend!!

This is probably the best food I have experienced in Fort Collins!! The menu is largely vegan and gluten free, and every dish is packed with flavor, and big portions! The raska sauce is to die for. Please come here and try this food. You get to eat communal style, and use the spongey flatbread called injera to scoop up and eat all of the yummy dishes. They also source their veggies from local farms! I highly recommend the Doro Wot (chicken) and Misir Wot (lentils- vegan!!). The owner and chef Hanna is the kindest woman I have ever met. She makes you feel like you've entered her home as a welcome guest, and the whole experience is cozy and filled with comfort. Go support these amazing people!!!

“We attempted to dine here but were refused service the moment we stepped foot into the restaurant’s door because of my service dog. I explained she was a service dog and she still refused service so I said thank you and as we were leaving she stated we can sit outside on a very hot day. The lady told us we couldn’t bring a dog inside because ‘dog hair would get into the vent.’ That reasoning is not only untrue (service dogs are allowed under federal law, and vents are not impacted this way), but it also reflects a lack of understanding of ADA protections. Refusing service to someone with a service animal is a direct violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act. We hope management takes this seriously, trains staff properly, and ensures other families with service dogs don’t face the same kind of discrimination here.”

Wow!!!! I had such a great meal here, and the staff and atmosphere were amazing! I felt nourished and taken care of in a very human way beyond just trying to be a good service staff. I was traveling and my server gave me a whole itinerary of what to do in Foco!! 🥰 I love this place so much and I will definitely be back if I’m in town!

The food tastes really good, but there's very little to no vegan protein. The dishes are 80% bread and rice with a small portion of vegetables/ sometimes legumes.

As a foodie, this place is an absolute hidden gem. The food is 10/10, vibe is 10/10, the waitstaff and owner are the kindest people. I love getting take-out here, or bringing friends to dine from out of town. They get slammed a lot on the weekends though (sometimes with an hour long waitlist) so I like to go earlier around 5pm if I dine in. The coffee is really good quality Ethiopian beans too, and I'm a coffee snob. Would highly recommend!

This is my favorite restaurant in town. I go there at least once a week. The food is clean and it is always a home cooked meal. Its food for the soul. It's a warm environment and they clearly care about every single customer who comes in. Try the Doro Wot chicken!
