Relaxing. Homey feel and delicious food and drinks. An elegant, modern small business café vibe, with ALL the charm. Would come back again and would recommend to anyone!

The éclairs here are incredible. You have your choice of vanilla or chocolate filling (I had chocolate) and the chocolate ones have yummy little cocoa nibs on the top which makes them delightfully crispy. The coffee (I had a latte) is also great. When we were here on an early Saturday afternoon there were very few other customers and it was very comfortable to enjoy our coffee and éclairs before diving back into the retail fray. It was cold out so we didn't choose the outdoor seating, but it looked comfortable and relaxed.

I've never gotten a bad thing from this place. Anything with their salted carmel is so so good. The owners and staff are very nice as well, I like the salted carmel so much I wanted to gift some people jars of it for the holidays and they were more than happy to make it happen! Great people, great place!

I recently hosted my friend’s tea party baby shower and used Retreat for desserts and pastries. I met with the new owners who took over in October. They were both so kind and professional, and did an incredible job not only in helping me plan but also in the execution of the food. Their products were the hit of the party, especially the scones!! Just about everyone there said they were the best scones they’d ever had. Retreat exceeded my expectations, we’re lucky to have such a talented neighborhood bakery!
Impromptu stop in on a quiet night. Little tidbits of deliciousness, an herbal tea and a pint of cider for us. Perfect way to end the evening

Worst chai we uave ever had, indrinkable. I'm not picky, i drink box chai sometimes and this was worse than off brand tea bag chai. Took 20 minutes for a single chai.

Super cute atmosphere and sweet staff but the coffee and pastries were 1/5 :( somehow a chocolate cupcake was not good.

Worst way to start the morning ☹️. They served me a cappuccino in a tiny cup, almost like a toy. I asked for a to-go size, but it took nearly 20 minutes to redo it. When I inquired about the wait, they were rude and said I needed to wait for all the customers to finish, including those still arriving. This will definitely be my first and last visit.

Yesterday was my 32nd birthday, we live in Cheyenne so naturally we drove to Fort Collins for a special date night. We stopped in 15 minutes before close after finding them on Google- there were a selection of amazing looking treats ripe for the choosing. We purchased a key lime pie to take home, asked for some to go forks from the lovely employee and went on our drive back home. I have NEVER experienced a dessert so PERFECT that each small bite was its own special moment. We raved the whole ride about this pie. I woke up this morning; are a slice for breakfast. Just came home for the day and enjoyed a slice again. I don't normally leave many reviews but this was life changing. We will most certainly be back to try more of this high quality amazing treat experiences.

Stopped here with my daughter and my friend for a little mid-morning treat. We asked for an iced mocha with extra chocolate. We received a hot mocha and if there was extra chocolate in it I couldn't taste it. So that was disappointing.
My daughter had a slice of their salted caramel pie, and that was delicious. Would order that again no question.
I had a cookies and cream Cupcake which unfortunately was dry, and the frosting was thick and unusual.
Overall this place had a lot of potential and I know the server was alone and very busy so mistakes happen, but the food was a hit and a miss. Well try there again another time.

Some good, some bad. Seems a little overpriced for the quality (yes local business) I'll give them another try. Biscuits & Gravy was good! Seems a touch out of place but if you're good at something! Got an assortment of bakery treats that were good but nothing blew my mind or made me want to buy another. I think they're going for a charcuterie board vibe but for a bakery! Worth checking out if baked goods are your thing

Saw all the good reviews, thought I would give it a try. Pretty disappointed. Cake pops were super dry, pie (chocolate) was very bitter. Not worth the money.

$10 fruit tart - expensive! BUT, maybe the best fruit tart I've ever had so ended up being worth it.
