The mini tarts were AMAZING! Small enough to have more than one, but so delicious you'll want too many. Paired perfectly with my iced chai tea. Wonderful atmosphere, good for a meetup or a study session, or whatever else you desire. Highly recommend!

I've tried a couple of items that had little to no flavor and soggy texture. I'm Italian from Brooklyn, thus making a comparison to the wonderful pastry shops back home is probably unfair but I think these folks can do much better.

Used to be better and expensive, but affordable. Now the quality is down, it’s just way too overpriced, and the best items are either gone or have unreasonable prices. The sky-high $$ prices don’t match the average service, dirty tables, and weird decor. The 5-stars reviews it gathered are from good old days that are now gone.

Not vegan friendlyThe bakery items only included one vegan item, a burnt chocolate chip cookie. I ordered an oat milk latte and about 1/3 the way through it, I got really sick and had to leave, it was clearly not made with oat milk. The place is super cute and has a great atmosphere, but I wouldn’t recommend if you have a dairy allergy.

So cute! Definitely come check this place out! It doesn’t look like much from the street but what a nice retreat inside. Wonderful baked goods too. The vegan gluten free chocolate chip cookie was divine.

I used to really like this place. They discontinued the only cookie I really enjoyed (Ruby was the best). TBH I no longer live close and that was the only reason I was traveling to this shop. I doubt I'll be back ??♀️

I love everything I've ever tried from here... but especially the Goat Cheese Cheesecake. The hint of goat cheese flavoring in the sweet and creamy cheesecake is amazing in both the raspberry topped and Samoa flavors that I've tried!

I stumbled upon Retreat while in this plaza and immediately really liked this spot. The coffee tastes good, the baked goods I've had are nice, and the ambiance is just very relaxed. The lady behind the counter both times (perhaps the owner? I should maybe actually talk to her) was very kind. I also enjoy that they are open later than most coffee shops so if you're looking for an evening coffee and to just read a book, it's a gem. Actually, I don't know why I wrote that, and now people may flood this spot as a result. Oh, who am I kidding, I'm probably the only person who still reads a book and has evening coffee anyway hence why everywhere else closes at like 5 pm. Anyway, have quickly become a big fan of Retreat. It is my retreat.
