Sherpa Grill 2 Indian Nepali Restaurant

I absolutely love the vegetarian dishes here. The food at Sherpa is so filling! This was the lunch special called Veggie Thali and I could only eat a third of it! It is real food, healthy food, made with love. The host and server were so kind and personable. Beautiful and clean atmosphere. Very quick service.

Edit- I'm sad to be editing my review. I used to love the food at this place, and I'm sure it's still great. Unfortunately, they don't care to serve you if you have dietary needs or preferences, although they claim to be able to make any dish dairy free. There is a specific section on their menu with vegetarian dishes that says can be made vegan upon request. (for an up charge, of course) so a couple nights ago we tried to go in, and order the same meal we have many times, listed first on their list: saag paneer but make it vegan by substituting tofu. Our waiter told us we couldn't order it because "the kitchen will get mad at me if you order that." I'm sorry, what?? He went on to say that they actually cannot make saag vegan, even though it's listed that way. He either did not want to serve us, or the workplace culture here is so toxic that the kitchen staff will punish him for what a customer ordered? Yikes. We left. Although I've loved the food in the past, I probably will not come back now that I know this is yet another restaurant biased against those needing to go dairy free. ?

Previous review: Delicious food! We missed the buffet but were offered the vegetarian lunch plate instead which came with samosas, a couple different curries, a daal, and naan. Everything was delicious and flavorful. The staff was very kind and attentive. I look forward to returning and trying more things off the menu, they seem to have a lot of great vegetarian and vegan options!

Good food and good portion sizes. My only complaint is that the dishes are not at all spicy when ordering them “extra extra hot”. Kind of surprised how bland the dishes are after choosing the spiciest menu option.

This is one of my top places in town for Indian food. The paneer masala is my go to entree and they do a better job here than some of the other places at actually making the food spicy although I still usually go up a level than what I would normally order. They also have great achar for only 2.99 which is a must have side for me whenever I get Indian food. They usually have good coupons on their website such as 20% or 30% off as well as perks and discounts through the Clover app! I've dined in a couple of times but usually do take out because there usually aren't that many people eating inside which makes the vibe kinda awkward for me, but if you're the type of person who likes a quiet meal/atmosphere then that might be a plus for you. Overall I would definitely recommend people try this place out as I think they do a consistently great job on the food and deserve the business!

This place has excellent food. The saag was delicious. Garlic Naan bread was great. It was worth the drive from Loveland. Mango lassi was also good. Will be coming back for sure.

Amazing flavors & not overpowered with salt. Beats all other Indian / Himalayan restaurants in town.

Edit : This place is _really_ good. Pro tip: Ask for hot sauce if you want it spicier, makes it even better. Not sure why spot isn't more popular. Been here 30-40 times since it opened. (as of editing this review)

Sadly they stopped offering the buffet during COVID and doesn't look like it's going to start up again

My Husband and I love Sherpa Grill. The food is absolutely delicious. Manager and staff are great. We feel like Family.

Vegetarian options: I’m a vegetarian and feel completely satisfied with the options I have at Sherpa Grill. It’s far my favorite restaurant.

Leaving this review because I'd like a response from the restaurant. I'm not sure where things went wrong in what I'm about to describe, but my time has been wasted, money not returned, I never got my food, and I'm very frustrated.

Ordered $73 worth of food from here on Door Dash tonight. (Some of that $ is the driver tip to be fair). The ETA was roughly an hour, but at the onset, this was no problem. Where the problem comes in is ultimately we never got the food. And as Door Dash support and the driver were non responsive to our outreach around the 1.5 hours of no food mark, I called the restaurant. Rang with no one answering. Tried again after a bit, same story.

Then we notice on Door Dash that the restaurant showed as closed. I've experienced this before where when a restaurant gets overwhelmed, they'll shut down delivery orders. Not sure if that's what has happened here, but I'd certainly like to know. The whole experience showed that our driver was awaiting the order for pickup.

And yes - clearly there's a problem with Door Dash that I don't want to be confused with why I'm leaving this review for the restaurant. I did speak with Door Dash support after much hold time. The problem compounds here as for whatever reason, they could not refund the full amount back to the card used. So I'm certainly asking who is at fault.

So again, I'm out money, never got food, and spent time with customer service - which I'll clearly have more to do. And to make it worse, this was supposed to be a treat for my girlfriends birthday since she had her heart and tastebuds set on ordering from here.

Recommended dishes: Tandoori Chicken, Two Chicken Tika Masala 12oz and a Garlic Naan

If you are looking to treat yourself and NOT CHEAT yourself please come to this place! Great food and phenomenal service ? If you are unsure or unfamiliar with Indian food I would recommend the butter chicken 10 out of 10 in my opinion! I’ve ate Indian dishes all around the country and this place is by far my favorite
