My Dad introduced me to Sonny’s. I’ve never had a bad experience there. The food, drinks, service and old school ambience are all too tier. Recently we had a large gathering in the private dining room and I can’t say enough about how well we were taken care of!
It was our 50th wedding anniversary. The staff was polite and the service was exceptional. My husband enjoys the rib eye taste. I had the two lobster tails with the crispy Brussels sprouts.
We had a wonderful experience. We chose to sit in the bar. We treated ourselves to the Happy Hour specials. The "steak" hamburgers were delicious. One of the best we have ever had. Our service was exceptional. The atmosphere is romantic and cozy. We love Sonny Lubick Steakhouse. Thank you for the complimentary birthday dessert. Scrumptious!
Staff and management made our dining experience awesome and fun, and the service and food was excellent and “on point” as usual. Always a pleasant and delicious experience! Their passion for food and creating a welcoming atmosphere always go the extra mile!
The service was quite slow, but we came in Father's Day so the restaurant was extremely busy. Our steaks were a bit overcooked, but still tasty. Quite pricey but the food is good overall.
They were very busy for Fathers day and only had one bartender so I will preface this review with that. Jeffrey was our server and he was very professional and as prompt as he could be considering two servers had the whole room. The first drinks arrived slowly but as I said they only had one bartender. The ambiance of this basement eatery cannot be beat. We had the Prime rib and a Strip steak with peppercorn finish. Both were cooked correctly to order. I found the strip steak overly salty but that is the American way I guess. We had a side of mushrooms that I found too spicy to eat. My loaded baked potato came with the fixings on the side and they were ample and good. Toffee sundae was tasty to end the meal. The wine list is a mixed bag. Some good selections but not as many European wines as I would have preferred. The bottle prices were a bit high too. 3X retail for the most part with some exceptions. We had a nice French Sauvignon Blanc by the glass to start that was crisp and a decent bargain. Entree prices are in line with the new normal.
Experienced great service at Sonny's. I was disappointed that the quality of the steak didn't seem to be as good as the last time I went. Sonny's isn't a cheap date so I expect high quality and just didn't get it this time.
Best dirty martini in Noco hands down. Fantastic service every time we visit and delicious food.
We absolutely loved our meal. We have come many times over the years and the food has always been amazing. It is a wonderful restaurant to celebrate a special occasion at. I think it has the best steak in Northern Colorado. Love, Love, Love
Disappointing! The service was very slow. I ordered the 6oz filet mignon medium well and it was well and dry. I also had main lobster tail and was not good. The quality of the food is not good and is overpriced.

Love Sonny's! Chill atmosphere, food is always great, and top service.
Best steak in northern Colorado. Greg our waiter was prompt, personal, and made the evening especially special. Definitely will be coming back!
Excellent
Best old fashioned I've ever had. Banana bread old fashioned. Great ribeye, really classy ambience and menu wasn't outrageously priced.
We chose Sonny Lubicks for dinner on Friday night because we had much to celebrate! Our server Tatiana was attentive and was able to explain the menu and the specials very well! My husband and I split the wedge salad and the French onion soup and then we each had our own order of the filet with the lobster. That entrée was phenomenal and very well presented. Our three guests also were very complementary of the entrées they chose.
