Sonny Lubick's Steakhouse

Steakhouse with some non-steak options that are very nice. I had a vegetable tart with mushrooms, sweet potatoes, and almond cream that was delicious! My meat eating friends were very happy with their choices as well. I really liked the quiet ambiance, and how servers were able to quietly move around the place. No sound of stacking plates, or kitchen background noise, etc.

I was there for the happy hour specials. The best one in my opinion is to buy one get one free on the steak burger. And the truffle fries are amazing. The service is always top-notch very professional and friendly. I highly recommend Sonny Lubick Steakhouse.

Food was good, service not so much. No one at the hostess stand when we arrived. Waited at least 5 minutes for someone to appear. Had to wait even longer to be seated over 10 minutes past our reservation time. Once seated, the server and her partner were working hard, but they had far too many tables to attend to (full restaurant on a Friday night) between them. Took at least 10-15 minutes to get a glass of wine, another while to order an appetizer, longer again to get it and we still hadn't even been asked about our dinner order. We had to tell the server we were ready to order. There's a relaxing pace to fine dining, and there's also just being sorta ignored. Felt a lot like the second one. As stated, the food was good (except my prime rib was cut very thin!) but hiring a few more staff members seems to be in order to make things run more smoothly for all and be more of an enjoyable experience. We will eventually return, but will either arrive at least an hour earlier and avoid the weekend entirely. Lesson learned.

We had a great time and love seeing the big Crowd of Veterans on their day. Sonny's took good care of them.

Had steak and mashed potatoes they were delicious! Service saw to attended needs such as alcohol and refilling water. I would recommend this place.

The service and ambiance of Sonny's is really nice. But the food is not as delicious as it should be. Our shrimp cocktail tasted like the shrimp one would purchase in a ring at a grocery store. The calamari was ok, but the sauce was questionable. The salads were ordinary and the entrees just ok. All of us ordered beef. Tenderloin, prime rib and skirt steak. All should have been flavorful since they were cooked to the correct temperature. But not so. Sonny's would be the perfect restaurant if they could get their cooking right. I hope they do, because it is a gem for Fort Collins to have such a classy restaurant.

Enjoyed dinner here for a birthday celebration. The servers were attentive and offered great recommendations. The food was amazing. We shared the Burrata appetizer, which I highly recommend. Our entrees were just as good, 2 filets and the brined pork chop. The Butter cake for the birthday dessert was also shared by everyone and gone within minutes. This is our favorite restaurant to visit for a special occasion.

Good food, well prepared promptly and courteously served! Who could expect anymore? As always, the service was excellent. My Tenderloin filet was cooked to perfection. I was surprised to hear that it was choice rated instead of prime, but I honestly couldn't tell the difference. It was both tender and tasty. The glass of Merlot I had with it complimented it perfectly, and both the and the sides I ordered were excellent as well. These reasons are why Sonny Lubick's is our favorite steakhouse in Northern Colorado. We'll be back often!

Tender prime rib and pork chop, perfectly seasoned. Also delicious burrata app and butter cake dessert. Excellent taste sensation to be found in the cocktails. Attentive, gracious and knowledgeable chef. Sweet, personable and helpful waitstaff that seemed dedicated to an excellent dining experience from start to finish.

This was our first time to Sonny's and wow were we so impressed!! We went to celebrate my brother in laws wedding. Our server was so attentive and made sure to make the evening so special! We had a table perfectly tucked away in the corner. Recommendations were spot on. We brought a cake and it was presented and cut to perfection. Corey, the manager, stopped by to introduce himself and ensure our evening was perfect. While they are a top steakhouse, there is always a vegetarian/vegan option. Top notch all around Sonny Lubick's is a MUST in NoCo and will definitely be our top spot for date night and special occasions!

Overall a great experience The calamari, wedge salad, oysters on the half shell and steaks were very good A little pricey when compared to the Capital Grill. $5 per oyster, wow. $24 for a mixed drink Was not a fan of the sauce on filet/lobster dish Probably will stay with the Capital Grille

I've been here several times and had good experiences before. But something has changed there and the service and food was really bad. There was only 4 tables yet it took them 45 minutes to bring our drinks. The food wasn't good and the steaks were very tuff. It took 2:15 minutes from the time we sat down until we received our food which is completely unacceptable with only 4 tables dining that evening. I'm not one to complain but I feel like it's necessary to speak up and if the restaurant wants to do better then they should learn from bad customer experiences like this. I definitely did not get my money worth and left very annoyed that we wasted as much money as we did.

We just happen to fall upon this place for my birthday. I am so glad we did. What a great place to relax and have a fantastic meal. The service was impeccable. The experience overall really was enjoyable. I want to thank Josh for welcoming us and Bryn (sorry if I misspelled this) as well as Tatiana. What a great set of staff members. Coming from the restaurant industry myself as a restaurant owner I appreciate this quality service. I recommend this place to anybody and everybody in the Fort Collins area.

We went out for our anniversary dinner as we have for at least 10 years. We almost always choose Sonny's for this special occasion. The staff gets an A+ as always.
