I’m not rating this good or bad
Based on stars but the principle of my experience. I just had a horrible night there tonight and the bar staff did not really have my back. I was dead sober ( half a hard seltzer in) just arrived and was there for like half an hour for karaoke. I stood at the bar with my friends. A man physically, aggressively, and purposely shoved me out of the way to sit with his girlfriend (he knows what he did). I stood up for myself, granted I took an aggressive approach it was valid based on what he had done to me. The bartender considered me the problem. What hurt the most was that the bartender who approached me to “not yell at people at the bar” was also a woman. I felt very unsafe and unsupported. I had to stand firm and hard for myself. I really enjoyed karaoke there and Jackson is a fabulous DJ. Sucks I can’t come back. Disappointment is all I feel. I hope that next time something like this happens the bar staff doesn’t make assumptions and point fingers without knowing the full extent of the situation.
This place was cool for the only "Dive" in the area. Cheap beer options, delicious slices of pizza, vintage jukebox. What else you want?

Good selection of draft and bottles. They do them right so be sure to grab yourself a Chicago dog (from a lifelong midwesterner). If you're still hungry, the pizza is excellent!
With stickers all over the booths and photos lining the walls, Surfside feels like it knows that it's loved. The regulars are more than happy to welcome new friends into that family too.
If you come to Fort Collins, don't miss this great little spot downtown!

If I could give this bar a negative review i would give it -10000000. The service here is horrible. We had a friend pay for all of our friends and the bounces still tried to take everyone’s money for they cover. Plus a super extra thing that happened with the bar tender. Do not recommend

Best venue in northern Colorado!
I’ve been to this place several times over the past 8 years, and have always enjoyed being there until my recent experience on Wednesday night. They hosted their “shit show Karaoke” night which was exactly what it means in the worst way possible. Cameron was great, and charming, and a good listener. His timing was also appreciated and he was patient as well while we ordered our drinks. I should have left after I had a conversation with the DJ and he told us that we couldn’t actually sing because the queue was already full. It was around 11pm and there were not that many people to accommodate, so maybe they should try a new karaoke system, unless everyone is satisfied with the “shit show” vibe. What really irked me and inspired this review was the blonde bartender working beside Cameron that night. She was blatantly rude, crass, and unpleasant to deal with. It was to a point that while 4 people were at the bar sitting, I wanted to make sure I closed out and tried to get her attention by saying “excuse me” at a reasonable level. I was not shouting, and when she finally acknowledged me after 10 minutes of waiting, she accused me of slapping the bar to get her attention which I had not done. My cousin, and friends, and even strangers verified this. I was glad that we were already on our way out, and extremely disappointed that such a cute and fun place would have such unpleasant bartenders like that.

Surfside is the best bar in town. I go in for karaoke on Wednesdays pretty often and Nicole, Cameron, and Jackson make it so fun! I always feel safe here. Also they just lowered their prices, and updated the menu!!!

The really hot cook KK makes the BEST pizza and is so quick and attentive. Tessa, the really pretty bartender knows EXACTLY what to get you if you don’t know! The food also is always out quickly :)

An oasis in a college town filled with sports bars and 'bespoke', pretentious cocktail lounges and brew pubs. Just a good 'ol punk bar with a tiki motif. I received a perfectly dispensed, creamy pint of Guinness and kicked back and let music from the PA relax me. Live, local shows happen regularly, plus headliners that you don't have to drive to Denver for. They also host a Descendants karaoke night featuring original members! The Surfside 7 takes me back to my days in the scene and I'm proud to say that punks aren't dead. Grab a stool or get in the pit. Either way, you're going to have a memorable time!

Your prices have gotten out of control and your service has sucked for 3 straight years. In Fort Collins where basically every bartender is nice, they rarely are here.
