Tonight is the first time i have ever been mistreated and been accused for “ causing problems”. I did have an argument with my partner outside of this establishment before placing any kind of food order or drink order. The door guy in the picture attached asked me “ is everything ok?” and I assured him it was. Our friend places an order for a 16” pizza. At this point I am sitting at the bar and the so called manager makes me a drink that I paid for. I sit there for 15 mins and here comes the pizza my friend ordered. I accept the order when his name is called and here comes the door guy bombarding me in the middle of just accepting the order for my friend- “ They need to leave immediately they’ve been causing problems.” If I was causing problems, why would you let us back into your establishment to not only order a drink but wait for our food order? I assure the door guy I am not as intoxicated as he makes me out to be. That I am simply having a drink and waiting for this pizza to come out. I ask to speak to manager which apparently was the bartender who made me an old fashion. He threatens to call the cops if I don’t leave after taking my drink and tossing it out. I simply wanted to have a drink while waiting for a 16” pizza to come out and leave this establishment. First time I have ever stepped foot here because it was recommended to us as the most affordable place to eat, but clearly is not the place to “hangout” even if you are being respectful and responsible over yourself. I DO NOT recommend this bar late night. Don’t even bother since the staff feel it’s okay to mistreat paying customers that they just “want to get rid of” for any petty reasons. Will not spend another dollar catering to people who not only hate their jobs, but take that stress out on people who do not deserve it.

Pizza the size of my face and made to order! Loved watching KK make the pizza from scratch. Have also had the poutine from them and it's top tier. Marty the bartender is also super sweet, even if I have no idea what I want. Very loud (esp. Karaoke nights) but they sell earplugs,

I absolutely love Surfside. Nat and Marty behind the bar are always a delight to sit and have a quick chat with while they hustle around behind the bar. Great selection of drinks, the pizza always hits that late night snack craving. 10/10 experiences at Surfside all of the time.

Such a nice bar and crew! I recently got a job nearby and started stopping by occasionally after work, and I have never received anything but friendly fast service. Dope bands and karaoke too!Kid-friendliness: All ages punk shows for the older kids! Hard to find these days.

The bartender was super rude. We waited approximately 40 minutes for some of the saddest pizza I've ever seen. This is definitely not the good late-night food spot that it used to be.
