My partner and I love Tap & Handle! We have very different beer preferences, but are always able to find something great for each of us with the quality and variety they offer. Their staff is also incredibly knowledgeable about their menu and have never steered me wrong on a recommendation. Their wings are also my favorite in FoCo. I've never had a bad experience at Tap & Handle.
Let me start off with I’m a very type A kind of gal. The bathrooms are always clean The staff is always so friendly and very attentive: Chris, Max, Colton, Dean (amazing) Sauces: house made (highly recommend: ranch, honey sriracha, honey mustard) Salads: crisp and fresh (I would never branch out, but when Chris recommended the Apple vinaigrette I politely said yes, and I’m glad I did!) Beer selection: amazing … few places in town to serve Pliney The Elder Patio: dog friendly Cost to serving ratio: amazing The photo is the side salad ( apple vinaigrette) with the mac & cheese with green chile & grilled chicken ( don’t judge I didn’t know it already had meat, I’m increasingly working on increasing my protein intake).
I would highly recommend. Happy hour menu is great. Their wings are very delectable: on the crispier side (old bay and/or honey sriracha is the way to go) Their chicken tenders & fries 🤤 chefs kiss 💋 I’ll end with: they have regulars for a reason

They are... Inconsistent at best. Me and my partner frequent them for their Wednesday smash burgers. They are quite good when they are actually smash burgers, but 3/4 of the time they aren't, and when they aren't they are incredibly dry.
Went on Wednesday November 15th, was extremely full yet we only saw our server 3 times including the one time we had to flag her down. I get patio is a bit harder to pay attention to but that was atrocious service. Not sure if they were short staffed or if she is just bad, but having worked the industry for over a decade this experience was terrible.
