The beer selection is pretty great. But the food isn't worth the while. Being charged higher prices than fast food, but the food still tastes about the same. Extremely salty, and lacking in flavor. The fish and chips came and was slightly soggy, no flavor, and the fries were stale. Only going back for the beer.
We were visiting from out of town and decided to give Tap and Handle a try after it was recommended to us by a local, and we’re so glad we did! It happened to be a Wednesday, which worked out perfectly since they run their Double Smash Burger special all day for only $7.50. The place was lively with lots of people enjoying the patio on a beautiful day, but we chose to sit inside where the atmosphere was just as inviting.
