Delicioso! I really like the campechano burrito and the rellenos here. Nice salsa bar. Leslie is always super sweet and nice to work with. Easily one of the best Mexican restaurants in town.

Restaurantji Recommends
We have ordered the birria pizza quite a few times because it is SO GOOD. Tonight they accidentally forgot a few of our kids’ burritos in the delivery order and went wayyy above and beyond to make it right. Not only is the food absolutely amazing but the service is exceptional too… highly recommend!

Not necessarily the easiest thing for me to get food in Fort Collins. I have experienced the worst racism ever here.
But not this place. Im originally from LA and the food is just as good as it is back home! Service was exceptional they are super nice! Love this place

What a happy surprise! Hubs and I wanted a little date night after an incredibly long week. He works second shift so late night eating is our jam for date nights. We were craving some spice and saw that Taqueria del Barrio was open until 11p on Fridays and Saturdays.
It’s the most perfect little hole-in-the-wall restaurant! Sometimes these late-night date nights go awry because we’re going in so close to closing time (which we don’t like doing, so often don’t go). Not this taqueria! Our meals were delicious. And bonus, the green chile doesn’t have pork so I was able to enjoy it, too! Aside from that deviation from tradition, everything else tasted like my Tia was in the kitchen. And the fresh salsas!! Delicious.
Our waitress was a doll as well! Leslie was totally fine with us “practicing” our spanish (go Duo Lingo!), bringing the most delightful energy despite the late hour. We also greatly appreciated the music being a reasonable volume so we could enjoy each other’s jokes and unwind from the week with laughter.
Definitely our new fav spot. Thanks Taqueria del Barrio for a special date night.
