Kids eat free on Wednesday! Took the family here last night and it was seriously good. I had a torta and wife had a burrito. Great food, great price. We'll be back soon.

I’m a local to FOCO for over 20+ years and I can tell you this place is a gem. The owner is the KINDEST and most ATTENTIVE person you’ll meet! The food was delicious and so FRESH. Also, the chips and salsa/bean dip are the best in town! We always do takeout from this place but we decided to dine in and the experience was wonderful! Please support this Family restaurant because it checks all the boxes and deserves so much recognition!

I've dined here many times and have always had a great experience.
The jalapeño margarita is my favorite cocktail, and the Molcajete is by far the go-to dish for my guy and I to share. We still have leftovers to bring home after getting our bellies full at the restaurant. It's a traditional Mexican dish (on the menu under specialties) with so much flavor that my mouth is literally watering, just thinking about it now.
If you like spicy, ask for a side of their habanero sauce. The flavor is delicious, and the heat doesn't linger in your mouth for very long. It's delicious added to the bean dip they bring out with your chips and salsa.
The crispy Chile relleno is another favorite of mine if you're not hungry enough to go for a big dish.
There are lots of TV's throughout the restaurant and they are happy to put on whatever sporting event you are there to watch.
I have had nothing but positive experiences each time I've visited, and I feel the price point is fair for the quality of food and service they consistently provide.

Parking: The only downside to going there is the parking lot. It's shared with a few other businesses, and parking in the small lot is limited and somewhat tight.

Wheelchair accessibility: Easy maneuvering and space for wheelchairs.

Right now a toss up of getting turned away at the door because of kitchen issues or waiting too long to order and get our food delivered

The chicken in the burrito was waaaaay too salty and I generally like salt. The lettuce was so wet that it soaked the buirrito before running down and making a swimming pool in the bottom of the container. The sour cream was in a pile mixed in with the wet lettuce on one end of the burrito while the guacamole same on the other end never to meet on the middole of the burrito where it could actually be distributed and enjoyed. An extensive variety of alcoholic drinks seems to be the big draw but I don't drink so that's lost on me. My theory is that customers are so schwacked by the time the food arrives, they have no clue it's disgusting.

Reallly bad service

The Fundido was crunchy not creamy, The Grilled Shrimp was good but peeling off the shells was difficult and WAY too much shredded lettuce. Burrito was good. Margaritas were perfect!!

I had a terrible experience with take out from Tecate Grill today. It started with placing the order through the website and receiving an email saying that my order was not placed and that I would be receiving a refund. Call the restaurant to verify my order was not placed, I was put on hold and after waiting for a few minutes the call ended without anyone returning to the phone. I called back 10 minutes later, the person said that my order was placed and that my food was being made. I asked when it would be done and they said 10-15 minutes. I showed up 15 minutes later and was told the order was still in progress. I wait for another 10 minutes. Finally the kitchen staff grabbed the only person working front of house, they come back from the kitchen and grab a bag from a shelf that had been sitting there the entire time I had been waiting. Server had to check the order and finally gave me my food. I got home and the food was cold and soggy and they didn’t give me the side of green chile I ordered and paid for, nor did they put another sauce on the side as requested in the instructions. Seriously unimpressed by the entire situation.

My fav authentic Mexican restaurant in Colorado and reminds me of home (Texas). Food always comes out hot and tasty. Huge drink menu with plenty of options and seating is always available. Wish we lived closer to visit more often. Craving a margarita and quesabirria tacos right now, sheeesh?

The only good thing about this place was the chips, dip and the customer service. The WORST mexican good I have ever had.

Eaten in and ordered Door Dash several times from here and EVERY time it's been excellent! I love Tecate Grill and will continue to be a regular customer. My favorite is the taquitos dorados!

Ramón and his crew have a true desire to serve the best and most authentic Mexican Food in Fort Collins. My family and I always try other restaurants in Northern Colorado, but we've never found better. Thanks for a great watering hole and awesome chow. We will see you soon

Vegetarian options: We enjoy the veggie burrito... Wonderful with Mushrooms... And spicy if you Want Too

Kid-friendliness: The family owned business knows the kids have to be fed and do a great job of it. Our kids live to war here
