Courtyard hotel is currently closed even though you can book a room on Marriott site which is incredibly unethical. They will move you to the Residence Inn across the street. Booked online direct through Marriott site. Arrived to a notice on the front door notifying it is locked and to please call a number. A hotel worker was there and came out and notified us the hotel was closed and that the reservation was moved to the Residence Inn. He said someone should have called and notified us and sorry that didn’t happen. Okay, fine, no big deal. So we go and check in(front desk ladies were very nice) at the Residence Inn across the street. Get into the room and it was literally SO DIRTY. Room 127 main floor corner room. Crumbs and food all over the floor in the kitchen. Tables had crumbs and coffee grounds on them. Just obviously dirty, with all the notices they post of extra cleaning and sanitizing during Covid, this was clearly not the case. Went back to the front desk to notify and ask for a room change. The front desk ladies were very nice, change the room which ended up being an accessible room which is not something we would book due to the bathrooms. They had no other King rooms available so moved to a third room which was a Queen room. Called Marriott customer service which said they couldn’t do anything since we already checked in and to work with the hotel. Okay, go and speak with the front desk ladies- we would like to get a refund and stay somewhere else. The front desk said they could cancel but could not guarantee we would receive no penalty charges and that they would have to leave a note for the GM to review and decide. Absolutely Ridiculous - stuck in a hotel we don’t want to be in. Don’t book either hotel.
We had a reservation with courtyard hotel and they transferred our room to the residence inn, the hotel we were transferred too, words cannot describe the disappointment for our first family vacation to Colorado. The room had a horrible odor, bugs on the floor, not enough towels, no toilet paper, the shower shampoo, conditioner, and body wash had not been refilled, the fold out mattress in the couch had stains all over it, the night lady working was the absolute most hateful person I have ever came across on the hotel industry, she acted like I was the problem when the people above us were making the most awful noises from 3-5 am, after we had just traveled 11 hours from Oklahoma, she was short and rude, completely unprofessional, feel like we were ripped off from our family vacation, we even had another family traveling with us, got them to also book a room with your hotel, they were transferred as well, their first room the air conditioner did not work, so they got moved to a smaller room, were again the a/c did not work either. Could not believe the service we received from the residence inn.
We spent two nights at the Courtyard by Marriott in Ft. Collins, CO, while visiting family in the area. The staff was very nice and efficient with our check-in. There is free parking and wireless internet. Check in starts at 4 pm and runs through midnight. If a late check in is planned, contact this property directly for their late check in policy. Beds were comfortable, and the room was beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean. The duvet is always too heavy for me - I would prefer a light blanket. The bathroom featured large bottles of body wash, shampoo, and conditioner on the wall of the shower, which saves on all those little plastic bottles. I like that! Small bottles of lotion were provided. Room had a microwave, fridge, television, and coffeemaker. This motel does not have complementary breakfast but has a really nice bistro in the lobby with a large selection of breakfast and lunch meals and beverages, as well as complimentary coffee. (Not sure about dinner). The staff in the bistro were very nice and served a delicious breakfast. The lighting in the room was rather low, particularly in the bathroom, which made it a little difficult to shave or put on makeup. I would very highly recommend this motel!
Serviceable and clean..basic courtyard with a nice fireplace and updates in lobby ..room had old fan in bath that’s way too loud, more Lighting needed, small Vanity, needs ports in room for plugging in apple products..our key didn’t work and the tv was small for today’s standards Linens clean and nice ..we slept well and it was a good price for a one nighter to see the college. It’s not close To the school So would look to stay in the old town next visit .
Great Breakfast menu
Great food, convenient and quick
No water pressure in shower. Breakfast food below average. Nice staff but if you are using points for a stay they relegate you to second class treatment priority ( which is ironic). Better options at Hilton properties to be honest.
Nice place... good wings.
Service was always great when Artie worked
