Rule of thumb; if you've heard of it before, they don't serve it. Nice, average, craft brewing tap house. Hidden location. Small selection of seats but they come with privacy.
Any establishment calling themselves a “Publick House” (which shortens to “pub”) sets up certain expectations: good ale, dark and cozy ambience, and a crackling fire. Bonus points for a sleeping dog in the corner. The Forge Publick House in Old Town Fort Collins delivers on all of these points. They have a rotating selection of 18 different beers and ciders on tap. The ambiance is enhanced with a bit of lingering smoke in the air from the wood fire. So put on your best...
Not a beer drinker, but they have boozy Italian sodas. It is quaint and peaceful, and it feels like you just belong there. The smell of the old coal smoke permeates throughout. It has more of a pub atmosphere, which doesn't disappoint.
