I drive 20 miles once a week to come to this small, simple, and efficient diner near old town. The atmosphere can appear dated at first entry, but don’t judge this book by the cover—it’s always clean and efficient. A.J. and his experienced team have prioritized the most important things: food and service. The food comes out quickly and just right every time, and the service is efficient and friendly. This is the way a diner should be. I’ve only ever been here for breakfast. But I hear from other customers that lunch is great, too. Give it a try for service that makes you feel like family and food that never disappoints.

I LOVE THIS PLACE. this is my boyfriend and I’s go-to place for a peaceful morning breakfast. They have so many fun menu options and the vibes are very small town comfort.
We came in on Christmas Day, and I was shocked about how incredible the experience was. I've lived in Fort Collins my entire 34 years and never have been here. The staff was friendly and caring, and were dedicated to us the entire time. The food was hot, fresh, and tasted fantastic. They even had homemade cookies that the chef made for us to take with. I strongly advise this nice little spot to ANYONE looking for a good breakfast alone, or with family and friends.

My mom, grandma, son, and I went to eat before Christmas. It was absolutely wonderful!!! The family who now owns the restaurant is kind and of great character. We look forward to returning consistently in the future to visit and eat some delicious food.

So excited for the new Persian menu! The samosa were hot, steaming with potatoes and veggie goodness! Always great with their homemade breakfast and diner favorites. Come check out this little hometown spot!
I had the best meal ever at mountain cafe. I ordered the biscuits and gravy and my daughter ordered the grilled cheese! We both enjoyed it so much we will probably be back every single week. The coffee is good and delicious and the staff was so nice I felt like I was eating with family!
