Went in for a happy hour on the beautiful patio and got to enjoy the changing leaves of fall. The staff was all so sweet and helpful when deciding what to order from the extensive drink list. Everyone in my party found something they enjoyed and all allergens are well marked on the menu. The cauliflower bites were so good (and gf)!! I am looking forward to returning to try more of their signature cocktails and sodas!

Obsessed with this place. The soda fountain offering is seriously so fun. I could try 100 different soda combinations and still have ideas to try. Helen was a fantastic server.

We went here mainly because I was searching for family-friendly places to go and this one popped up and looked good. We got lucky with a parking spot right in the front along the road, but otherwise we would have had to go further away. The atmosphere was definitely the best thing about this place, the outdoor patio was secluded and we personally couldn't hear a whole lot of traffic. The service was a tiny bit rocky but overall good. Reason I say rocky is because we had our baby with us and needed a high chair, once we got seated it was about 5-10 minutes and no one brought it. I asked our waitress when she came and she got it right away. Our waitress kept checking on us, which is nice since they were busy outside. We ordered an appetizer and our drinks and food. Our drinks came out really quick. Tried the Nitro cold brew and their Frose(froze?), anyway it was a daily special so it was discounted. It was good, but I couldn't taste a whole lot of the peach/strawberry and it got watery taste fast. We received our food before the app we ordered, which was a little strange. The app was the best thing foodwise that we tried. It was the melted cheese dippers, comes with tomato soup. I got the buckhouse chicken sandwich I believe and my husband got a burger. The chicken and the hamburger patties didn't seem fresh. The texture almost tasted like it was microwaved but decent enough to eat. The chicken sandwich in my opinion also did not have much flavor. I had to add their fry sauce on it to help with eating it. Lastly, we tried the fresh berry cobbler. It was pretty tasty, my only recommendation for them would be more graham cracker crumble and/or little less berry so it's more like a cobbler. All in all, I think we will go back but just for drinks and the atmosphere. They have a larger drink selection that looks good, so that and the service from the waitress we had, is what would bring me back. :) Hope this helps anyone!

Can't say enough about this place. The food and drinks are great. Polite Dogs are allowed in the outside area which is classy and large. Staff is caring and attentive. Did I already say that the food was good? If you saved room for desert I advise you try the peanut gallery milkshake (for adults only).

I hate not being able to give our server 5 stars. While she was pleasant and attentive(when she did make it by our table) everything took too long. I understand it's a large restaurant and perhaps server sections are far apart from inside and outside, but it ruined the experience.
I even tried to be proactive and order our dessert in the middle of our meal and it STILL took 25 minutes to get served to us. I'm not blaming our server completely, but I don't think we'll be coming back for awhile. And won't be recommending to our friends ):
Also- the picnic tables are an odd place to sit a family for dinner. We moved and so did other families when attempted to be sat there.

If you’re looking for an amazing menu filled with a variety sandwiches and shakes. Union will not disappoint! Not only will the sandwiches amaze you but the Friday Fish and Chip special is to die for in this land locked state! I highly recommend to anyone looking for stunning chill atmosphere (they have a huge patio and a great happy hour). Not to forget a shout out to the staff at union who make an unforgettable experience in old town! Ps… don’t forget to try the froze!!!

First time there- will come back!! Great experience.

The food was delish ( so many vegetarian options! Sensational salads, yummy apps.)

Kid- friendly ( our grandkids enjoyed their quality kids’ meals and sundaes). Patio dining was awesome. Excellent, attentive service.
It’s a fav spot for our daughter and her fam- glad they introduced us.

Union has a very nice building with a great ceiling and open feel.
- Beef manhattan is extremely salty. Like kidney damage levels of salt. Borderline inedible. The included vegetables were good.
- The milk shakes are literally 3/4 whipped cream.
- One friends thought the chicken sandwich was one of the better ones he has had.
- Kind of slow service. Just a bit awkwardly long to take our order.
- They forgot several ordered items: a beer, two kids sundaes.

8/25: nice location, good menu selections, fair prices and service was very shaky. The staff apologized and indicated it was out of the ordinary, but I've only been there once.

My first experience was…odd. I’ve always wanted to come in because the outside of this place looks fantastic. Modern, clean, open. I finally came in for a quick bite and drink, sat down at the bar (nearly empty). The three ladies on the corner of the bar were discussing how they really needed their check and the amount of time they’d sat without someone attending to them. One of them had to holler at the bartender for their tab. I leant over and asked if service was slow because I needed to be prompt (in and out in an hour) and they said it was quite slow. My first drink order came out incorrect. I ordered an aviator salad (Caesar) with steak. Salad was heavy with very salty bacon which 100% overpowered the Caesar. The croutons kinda disintegrated (really soft, not crunchy at all). Steak was cooked perfectly. A couple came in to pick up a Togo order and discovered their order wasn’t received and had to wait. Staff were incredibly nice but everything seemed a bit disjointed, slow, and confused. I also got charged a credit card processing fee when I paid cash. The bartended gave me that in cash to make up for it saying that the manager wasn’t around to remove it but it was a bit odd. I might try this place again because perhaps it was an off night.

Horrific Experience – Ruined Our Night
We came here expecting a nice family dinner, but instead experienced something absolutely unacceptable. While sitting outside, a large rat curled up right next to our table, clearly dying from poison. Our 6-year-old , who loves animals, witnessed the entire thing and immediately began crying hysterically. She cried off and on for over an hour and kept talking about it long after we left.
We immediately informed our server, we didn't make a big deal or freak out, just asked to move. The manager did come over to apologize. However, there was no attempt to comp anything from our bill, and no real acknowledgment of just how disturbing this was for our family. We still had to pay full price for a dinner we didn't enjoy while dealing with our traumatized child, who talked about how much her heart hurt the whole time.
I understand that pests can be an issue anywhere, but the complete lack of appropriate customer service and compassion in handling the situation was appalling. We will never return, and I would strongly caution others to not eat here.
