We got the monthly special, the steak and French onion meat pie and it was amazing. This was our first time getting Waltzing Kangaroo. We opted to get two frozen ones and bake at home. The instructions are perfect and easy to follow. We actually used these as our “luncheon” hobbit meal during our lord of the rings marathon. The crust is flaky and golden and tasty. The flavor is so incredible. We definitely can’t wait to come back and try other items. They also have some pastries/baked goods that we can’t wait to try!They were decently busy when we went but service was still quick, personable, friendly. We were a bit confused about where the line was supposed to be, but no biggie. Overall cute shop, great food, nice staff, good prices ?Parking: There’s actually a huge lot for the shopping complex but it’s generally quite busy. It can be difficult to find a spot.

I forgot to take a picture but I will next time. Our friends invited us over to watch Lord of the Rings and have some Waltzing Kangaroo pies... so delicious! I had the veggie and it was just perfect. Crust, soft and buttery with a light crisp. The inside was creamy and full of flavor. My daughter had the same thing and loved it too. Mashed potatoes and gravy were delightful! Hubby had the shepard's pie and he thought it was delicious and reminded him of his grandma's shepard's pie. I wanted to go back tonight and grab some but I see they are closing soon so I'll come again soon. I can't review the service or ambiance because we are at our friend's house.

Holy moly! I don’t know what I was expecting, I’m not a big pot pie fan but I love trying new things. Stopped by to grab dinner for the fam tonight. This place is fantastic! I got the chicken cordon bleu it was amazing. Baby bear loved the steak and mushroom pie. And the sausage rolls were absolutely delightful soft and flakey. I haven’t tried the desserts yet but I can only imagine they’re wonderful as well.

I was gifted a sampler one Christmas by my cousin who knew this family & wanted to support this family's business. This review is for the meat pies & sausage rolls . I'm an online customer, only having tasted these from home as I do not live near the store front. My experience has been excellent. The online order allows for select your own 12 or the curated sampler of 12. I love them all! It was love at first bite. They are great to have in hand. They store well in the freezer and I've just now placed my third order. If you are on the fence about trying these, do it! These meat pies are worthy of all the positive reviews.
