White Tree Sushi and Asian Cuisine

3.5/5. Service is great, the little food expo robot is a neat feature (only ever seen them in Asia). It's a quaint place with great decor and vibe. The food was good, not great. There are a lot of options for sushi and of you want genguine Korean cuisine this is a good spot to experience it. We've had better sushi in fort collins elsewhere. The price is reasonable. Don't bring a large group here. Cute for date nights.

This beautifully decorated restaurant serves a delightful fusion of Japanese and Korean dishes. I took a good friend here who has historically been Asian averse, and she became a convert.

We had perfect bulgogi bibimbap, a succulent smoked eel roll, and a super yummy katsu fried pork steak.

The meal was followed up with a complimentary portion of delicately flavored Japanese mochi ice cream.

The only problem with the meal was that there was no kimchi available. Our kind and attentive waiter explained that some of their customers feel that it has too strong of an odor. Such a shame! There are a few foods more healthful on Earth than kimchi. 🫤

Such a great experience every time. QUALITY FRESH SUSHI! The Atmosphere/ambiance is peaceful, service is exceptional, and the robot that occasionally delivers food to the table is fun :) One of the 2 owners always comes out to say hello and check in...a genuine "how is everything" and sincere appreciation for patrons supporting their small local business.

Such a cozy vibe, very romantic atmosphere. Love the little expo bot makes the experience authentic. Great sushi volcano roll is excellent and miso soup is excellent! Great staff

Oh yeah, this place is it. The bees knees, the crème de la crème, the sushi house.

After spending nearly a year in Korea and a short time in Japan, I have spent many months and a lot of money trying to find a quality sushi house. THIS is the place.

The food is excellent, the atmosphere is usually quiet and calm. Something that will stand out in sure is that there is a literal robot that drives around and delivers your food. This isn't commonplace in the US but is normal overseas. Fun to see something like that again.

If you want quality, fresh nigiri, sashimi, and temake then this is your place.

Plan at least 1.5 hours here and make a reservation as it fills up quick and there's typically only 1 server, maybe 2 besides the robot.

Blatantly dishonest.

If you had asked me before today what my go-to sushi spot in town was, I'd say it was this place but their blatant dishonesty has really soured my opinion on this restaurant.

Today I ordered takeout to celebrate the birth of my son and finally getting some sushi for my wife. We ordered takeout-- order placed at 7:21pm, estimated to be ready at 8:01pm. I arrive at 8pm and I'm met by a lady that says it'll take just a little longer. No big deal, so I take a seat. I hear her go around and interact with other diners and she seems really friendly, overhear a conversation that reveals she's the previous owners daughter. Time goes by and I don't hear anything. I continue waiting and waiting without any updates. By now the time is 8:40pm and no one has even bothered to give me an update. I finally get up and ask the same lady for an update. "Oh are you here for pickup?" (Okay, so she clearly forgot I was waiting, strike one.) I tell her I've been here and just wanted an update, she hurries back to the kitchen and picks up a bag of food, calls over to the other cooks as asks them how long the order had been ready, I hear him "about an hour." (Stike two) She responds, "an hour?!" At this point another gentleman comes out from the back and says that my order will be ready soon because the host didn't know I had arrived. She comes back out, hands me my food and tells me to have a good night. I hesitate, "is this safe? I feel like it's been sitting out for a while." She responds "no, it's only been sitting for about 10 to 15 minutes. (Strike three). I wanted to tell her I literally heard them talking in the back but being unconfrontational, I decided I just wanted to get out of there. Maybe just be honest next time or offer a voucher or SOMETHING if for no other reason than forgetting I was there for 40 minutes.

Very disappointed and honestly, pissed.

TLDR; Daughter of previous owners lied to my face about how long my food had been sitting out, doubt her parents would've wanted their restaurant ran that way.

Unfortunately, over the years, this place has gone from one of the best sushi spots in town to one of the worst. I don't know if they have new owners, or if the owners that used to care just stopped caring. But it's definitely different. Read the reviews, there are some from folks who have never been here who rate it highly because they got lucky. And anyone else who's been here before and wasn't lucky will tell you that this place has fallen off a cliff in terms of customer service.
Multiple reviews, my experience included, of waiting for more than 20 minutes before even being acknowledged in the restaurant. I waited - I $$$$ you not - nearly an hour and a half for a single order of salmon sashimi.
The server was pleasant, but it's clear that she's overworked. She says the chef was behind.
They have a robot trying to deliver the food, but it doesn't work.
This place is a joke!

This place is an elegant little restaurant with a mellow, understated facade. The interior has a quiet atmosphere and good food ( my Navy ship often went to Japan and Busan,--formerly written as Pusan, Korea so I know whereof I speak.) Not only good food, but it has an assistant food delivery robot when the restaurant is busy....it greets you, asks you to accept your order of the food you ordered, then rotates to leave, making a pleasant remark. It also will wish someone at your table a happy birthday (but you have to let your server know when you sit down).

Parking: Shared parking lot with King Sooper's and four or five other stores, Great Clips and a veterinarian , but if you're having dinner there's plenty of front-of-restaurant parking. There's good parking anyway.

Fantastic! Elegant, quaint, and most importantly, delicious & fresh fish. Modern decor & lighting = good place for a date. I've enjoyed sushi in multiple big cities across the country & White Tree has an elevated style. Music is mellow (popular but classic, chill). Family business: my attentive & beautiful server is owner's daughter. Thrilled to find the crisp, light Japanese beer, Orion, on the menu. Robot that serves food is novel, although server arrives at same time to explain what you've ordered.

The food is amazing, but definitely don’t like the automated waiter. The staff really needs to pay more attention to their patrons. We had to flag them down to have questions answered or to order additional items.

This is somewhere we have wanted to try for a while and finally did! The atmosphere is cute, surprisingly lovely. We were kind of shocked at how slow and inattentive the service was. Our food took over an hour to come out, and we had to go find our server to get another drink. The restaurant wasn’t full and we were definitely surprised at how long everything took.When the food finally came it was EXCELLENT! Absolutely delicious, fresh, flavorful. The service was bad but the food made up for it. Just be ready to wait and order two drinks at a time!

White Tree is just incredible. The decor and the location are convenient. Parking is super easy. Food was incredible and sushi was perfection. I got the special and the group got sushi. The owner was amazing and super helpful. We got served by a robot I was so taken away and amazed I never took a single picture. This places gets ya off your phone and enjoying family time with of course the robot!
