I had barbeque ribs here today with small sides of potato salad and coleslaw. Within 10 minutes of finishing and leaving I began to feel quite ill and had to immediately stop at a grocery store to use their restroom. I had stomach cramps and diarrhea for hours which was indicative of food poisoning. This establishment is atrociously filthy from the counter where I ordered this disastrous meal to the inside picnic table where I consumed it today. I was anxious about eating there and in the end it was a terrible decision that I hope no one else goes through. I was compelled to report this egregious encounter to the Jefferson County Department of Health. I also contacted the owner, "Zack" and he promised to send me a text to confirm he credited the meal back to my credit card - a tiny consolation for the misery I went through. However, I never received the courtesy of a text from this person today and it is presently after 11:00 PM and my body is still dealing with this debacle.

I've been a customer for many years and have always thought this place was one of the best bbq places around. However, the last couple times I've ordered food, I have been really disappointed. I didn't write a review the first time thinking that maybe it was just an "off" day for the cooks or whatever it might have been. But my most recent visit, where I ordered a Piggin' Out Sampler, a $50.00 sampler I might add, was just a mess. So much fat!! More then what one might consider normal. It was just awful. The ribs were dry and so was the mac n cheese. It was a huge disappointment. The prices are a little high (but what place isn't these days??) But with that said, the quality of the food should be a lot better than it is. If not, maybe they should lower the prices and it could be a "you pay for what you get" issue. What's even worse, I purchased a gift card at Christmas time for my employer to check out sometime. Nice recommendation huh?? Bummer!!

Eric served me and is so enthusiastic. Must be the owner. The brisket with bark melts in your mouth! Ribs have no fat and are YUGE! Mustard bbq sauce is epic. So are the beans and slaw! My new place. Love these guys!

They have the Best barbecued ribs in town - moist and meaty. No indoor tables but a large tent for outdoor dining.

It's the best meal I had while vacationing in Denver. We had the sampler with mac and cheese and potato salad...nothing disappointed! I wish I discovered them earlier so I could eat there AGAIN!

Great bbq right by my house. It might seem like a Home Depot shed on the side of the road, but it most definitely will surprise you.

This place has a really good kale salad. They used to give you your dressing separately. Now they barely put any dressing on the salad and don't give you any on the side. It's like I'm eating straight kale right now. Who ever put this thing together ruined my day. So thanks for making me spend an outrageous amount of money for a small salad with no dressing on it!

Really dig this place. The Hawaiian sandwich is freakin balls! I've never had a bad things here and the service is always above board.

This place is amazing!! I would give it five stars but it's closed on Mondays and it's pretty pricy. But that aside I would for sure recommend it!! Hands down the best bbq you can get in the Denver suburbs. The meats are perfectly smoked and I love the candied beacon Mac n cheese!! Also it has been on the food network chanel multiple times. One being the show "Dine inns, drive inns, and dives" I believe. But don't quote me on that lol. Anyways just go check it out yourself you'll be happy you did!!

Tender pulled pork, delicious cornbread, friendly and prompt service, seating for multiple large parties...this place was a fun little find. The only critique I can give was that the sausage link was a little overdone so it was pretty dry, but that doesn't warrant a negative star in my opinion. The jerk chicken and ribs were both sold out, so I'm assuming they're fan faves. Hopefully the next time I return, I'll get to try one. I do love me some jerk chicken.

We got the piggy sampler. It was a lot of food. We chose to dip our barbecue in mild barbecue sauce and pineapple one. The pineapple one was a bit too sweet for our taste. Now, let's talk about the meats. The chicken was whatever, not totally impressed on its favor. The brisket was a bit dry. Their ribs were very good. The pork was good as well. I wished the BBQ meats have more pepper to it. They were missing the smoky aroma. Additionally, their sides were very good. The mashed potatoes had a ton of peppers We love pepper. However, it was a little bit salty for me. The coleslaws were tasty as well. We have it a 4 because for Denver standard, this was pretty good.
