Best lengua tacos in the area that I've tried so far. No longer do I need to drive to Aurora for something above average. The birria was a hit as well.

So I had been meaning to try this lunch truck but
Most times was nearby it didn't seem to be open and finally had a chance to do so. I had tried their restaurant ordered tacos a few years back and did enjoy them. I came here we ordered 2 tortas same thinknwere cabanas and quesabirria tacos 2 and some aguas frescas.
Initially I thought had overcharged me but they gave me the items I had initially ordered so it was a mutual mistake not being clearer and verifying order.
The order tool a little longer than expected nothing wrong with it I'd the food if prepared correctly.
Upon receiving ordered realized did charge the 2 tortas which were $14 or $15 each. Those prices are usually for premium tortas and this was not due to several things.
1. The read was a little dry and think it's noticeable in the pictures. While it was toasted on inside it was not on outside it could have made better but maybe would have been more dry.
2. The mayo is not spread out evenly throughout so not enjoyable where the bread is too dry.
3. Cubana is a combo of ham and carnitas but it hardly had any carnitas. Or much filling to justify the price.
The quesabirrias looked Great and was hoping would make up but the flavor was too rich yet not much flavor of birrea
The taco was too drenched in oil luckily oil was heated properly bit perhaps not as clean as should be. The cheese they used was too much and too rich because it either overpowered the birria or the birria lacked seasoning flavor.
The salsas were good .
The aguas frescas were good but not great perhaps not natural or not made in house.
The service was. Bit lacking and bit slow when we arrived there were no orders
a while for the preparation of food we received price and time were excessive.

This food truck is only 200 yards south of Santiago‘s. Not knocking Santiago’s. I enjoy their food, but in my opinion the food here was not only better but cost less. I did not have to wait in a drive-through line that was wrapped around the entire building. The food was amazing.

I saw this food truck while driving home from work one day and decided to try it out. That was one of the best decisions of my life! There is something so unique and delicious about the flavor that it is indescribable. You also get large, high-quality portions at a more than reasonable price. The staff are really cool and friendly as well. You must try.

Very good food at reasonable prices. Consome was delicious! Served with two limes and 5 flour tortillas, rice and beans. My wife had the lingua tacos and loved them. Comfortable chairs and a nice patio in the sun. I can highly recommend!
Parking: Plenty of parking, dirt lot.
Kid-friendliness: Plenty of room for kids to run around, though it is close to Colorado ave.
Wheelchair accessibility: Dirt parking lot, should be easy for most chairs.

I tried a breakfast burrito for the first time and found the pricing quite reasonable. As of September 2023, breakfast burritos cost $5.50. The chorizo was a bit underwhelming, a little too mushy, lacking in texture ( Maybe searing it for longer would make a difference? ) and spices ( Maybe you should guys look into making your own chorizo? Is super simple and it would elevate your food through the roof )However, the potatoes, cheese, and the rest of the filling impressed me, especially the seasoning. I'm eager to sample their regular burritos and explore other menu items. The service was quick and very pleasant. Everything looked clean!!

What a fantastic addition to our community. I work nearby and my colleagues and I are frequent customers! I’ve tried and have been pleased with many items on the menu: tacos, Chile relleno, Tortas, gorditas and the breakfast burrito is fantastic (and served all day!). Additionally, Ruben (owner) has fresh juices and horchata daily. Ruben and team are so friendly! My only hope now is he will stay open thru the dinner hour!!

So I will be real with you — This is me reviewing the original location in Lafayette. I haven’t actually been to the new spot yet. However, what bad timing on my end! I finally move next to my favorite taco store (I genuinely was gonna eat there every day) but RIGHT before I moved y’all closed! Such bad timing. Oh well. (I heard about what happened btw, so sorry to hear!) That says a lot about how much I love this place though!!!The staff here is super friendly and kind. I speak literally no spanish whatsoever, and they never make me feel stupid for not knowing any. They’re also just really big on making sure your order is correct, which I immensely appreciate. My favorite things here: The fried Tilapia and the Birria Tacos! I am very picky with my tacos — the consume here is TO DIE FOR. Will 100% make a trip out to the new location at some point whenever I can!!! So glad to see y’all are back. I hope the food is just as tasty as it’s always been!!! Knowing y’all though — that’s super likely.
Vegetarian options: My mom is a vegetarian but she still loves coming here with me! She always gets the guacamole tacos or tostadas. (She eats fish so sometimes she will split the tilapia with me!)

So we decided to try this new food truck sense it’s close to home , as much as I want to say it was great it was a big NO for us. Spent about $50 on two burritos and 4 tacos with an agua de horchata! And to top it off we only got one lime for all the food we ordered and no salsa for the tacos. The tacos de asada needed a little more cooking and flavor.
