Bread+Salt is a cozy and welcoming restaurant located in Breckenridge, offering a diverse menu with Mexican-inspired dishes and classic American fare. The food is generally tasty, with standout items like house smoked salmon, Gravlax, and nice eggs benedict. The staff is friendly and attentive, creating a comfortable atmosphere that makes it a great stop for those traveling along I70 from Utah to Colorado. Visitors can enjoy local items for sale displayed on the wall, and the restaurant features plenty of parking and shared restrooms. It offers amazing views of main street looking toward the west, especially when sitting outside. The breakfast and lunch menus are perfect for early risers, with homemade bread, jam, and great coffee and cream. The strawberry jam on the toast is fantastic, and the Olathe corn scramble is highly recommended. Although the green salsa on the chilaquiles lacked flavor, the restaurant is noted for its excellent no-frills lattes and reasonable prices. Bread+Salt is one of the few places open during the off-season, providing a pleasant dining experience for visitors to the mountain town.
