Might be the worst bbq I’ve had in CO which is saying something. How the brisket coming out of a warming bin and is cold? Also they have to add cheese sauce from a can to the mac n cheese before they serve. Crazy this place is highly rated just go to Tavern.
Excellent BBQ! This is coming from a native Texan… All we do is BBQ!

Eagle BBQ is a popular spot on Copper Mountain, serving consistently delicious food with friendly and quick service. The restaurant offers authentic BBQ with generously portioned sides, including fried okra and mac n’ cheese. The honest St Louis style BBQ is reminiscent of Pappy's on the Hill in South St Louis, with rib meat that falls off the bone and a just-right spice. The ribs are a little peppery and have that perfect spice, and the add-on sauces are okay. Fries are notably good, though a bit ski resort expensive.
A hidden gem in Copper Mountain, Eagle BBQ is tucked away in Center Village and has a laid-back, casual vibe. Visitors often start their day with the brisket breakfast burrito, which is loaded with tender brisket, crispy tater tots, eggs, and more. Many find it so good that they come back for dinner, where the pastrami Reuben with seasoned fries is highly praised. The smoked meat is melt-in-your-mouth tender and full of flavor. Kids enjoy the brisket and mac n’ cheese or ribs with mac n’ cheese, often licking their plates clean, which speaks to the quality of the food.
This is a must-stop at Copper Mountain in every season. The menu features well-done, delicious BBQ, and in the evening, carts of huge slabs of meat are rolled to the smokers for overnight cooking. For a great surprise, visitors can try the breakfast burritos in the morning, widely considered the best in the area. Eagle BBQ is the perfect place to grab a bite after a long day on the slopes or to enjoy a chill, casual meal with good energy.
