Great food and great service! The waiters/waitresses are highly attentive and I highly recommend the Fajitas Colorado and the medium margaritas are literally the size of a small pitcher! Love it!

The food it’s not bad. The service and attitude of the employees or owner what makes it bad. Why? Because I ordered a Caldo de res and big fat fly landed on the caldo. I told the waiter about it and his answer was “I dont control the flies” and “What do you want me to do as I can’t do anything?” The least he could do bring us another plate and still charge us for it (I did not even have a chance to taste the caldo). But he was rude so I cancelled the caldo and ate the rest of the food we ordered. I did leave tip as I know waiters tend to live on tips.

The food was very good, the surface was very good, the atmosphere was okay.
But I did not go there for the atmosphere.
I had the daily special, chicken de la crema burritos. I would have that again! This was my first visit to El Mezcal, and I will definitely go back.

I had heard often about the super fries and that they were very good. We ordered them and they were extremely underwhelming especially for almost 16 dollars.

There was very little Carne Asada on them. The bits that were on there were very dry. Honestly they looked and tasted like they had just been microwaved. Everything else was great.

Our first time dining at El Mescal was nothing short of stellar. The atmosphere, the friendly staff, the amazing food. What an experience! Our very picky 5 year old asked “Can we go there again?” So you know it’s that good! Our server, Pablo, made us feel welcome and was attentive during our meal. He made sure we were happy with our food and kept our beverages topped off. The wife loved her Burrito Mescal and I had some of the best shrimp tacos. Aforementioned picky eater tried bacon-wrapped shrimp for the first time and those things disappeared before our very eyes. He inhaled them. Our boys also loved the churros and fried ice cream for dessert. We’ll be back!

I bought two orders of tacos to be delivered to my house. I just had a long, hard day. I honestly didn't want to hear about the kitchen. When the order arrives, it arrives super cold after being late.
