“Reddit recommended this place highly (we’re traveling!) and it didn’t disappoint! We are omnivores who seek plant-based food while dining out because we know vegans actually love food - and this restaurant was no exception. Outstanding service top to bottom and the atmosphere/decor/booths were comfy and otherworldly. It’s clear how much this place is loved, and I could not believe that it wasn’t completely packed on a Saturday at 7:30pm. 10 stars. Definitely recommend. We loved the fork and knife quesadilla and the coconut curry. Playlist was pretty great too - seems like they love music just as much as they love food.“

“The Trini Pepper Sauce is out of this world! We ordered the 'hot' sauce and it is indeed hot—that's way we like it. Yum! We will put it on everything. We also got some Krunchy Kurma sweet, tasty, crispy snacks, and my boys inhaled instantly. Great stuff, Caribbean Momma.“

“✅The food was even better than I remembered. From perfectly fried and flaky catfish to crispy, sticky mouthwatering honey hot wings, to soul-fried shrimp, with flavorful Mac & cheese, to delicious greens and okra, to perfectly crispy and sweet hushpuppies (watch out if you slide them through the honey hot sauce 🤤)… everything at our table HIT. It’s a great week for music culture to be from VA, and I couldn’t have dreamed of better southern soul food to cap it off. ✅The drinks were beautiful and delicious, from light, crisp, and clean lemon drops with just enough sweetness to hibiscus margaritas to grown-up manhattans to perfectly poured and chilled beer on tap. ✅The vibes were, of course, immaculate. I don’t need to say more about that. If you don’t know, you better get out and find out about the brilliance and joy for yourself.“
