Our family of 8 adults went on the recommendations of our VRBO host David and we were not disappointed. We were greeted warmly, shown to a lovely table looking out on the quaint garden patio. Our service was impeccable and felt effortless. The meal was outstanding, fresh, hot, and full of flavor. From our appetizers, to our dinners... most of which were in the 'clean plate club' and the rest were close... had to save a little room for dessert, which was a perfect ending...
I've dined at this place several times and never had any cause to complain, but I would steer clear of the carbonara if you are expecting a true traditional carbonara. Their spin on carbonara was not good at all. It had a very strong overpowering flavor, way too rich, and some strange spice that as an Italian I could not place. The food was very good and so was the service. But it was overpriced. Also, be aware they charge a credit card fee, which is really annoying. I can understand this fee at a food trailer or small restaurant....but an expensive restaurant, no one is going to be paying cash. Accepting credit cards should be rolled into your business model.
