This place is amazing. The food is awesome and not that expensive compared to places near by. Me and my coworkers go here often and plan to keep coming when we have time.
Good little hole in the wall breakfast place with the best tortillas I've had in my life. Love the breakfast burritos (including for lunch and dinner)
30 minutes before close, they would only sell takeout.
So uhhh I am a carne asada fry professional expert and these are so gas, prettyy good. Meat is great quality, portion is generous. Only 2/10 places in Denver can get these right I am glad to have chose this place.

They have bad customer service they don’t answer the phone and when it rings too much they either disconnect or silence the phone.

We are new to the area, and when we first came here, we had an amazing experience. Everyone seemed very friendly. Our toddler accidentally made a mess, and when we offered to clean it up, the employee kindly told us not to worry and that she would take care of it. That level of customer service really stood out to us. Unfortunately, our last few visits have been disappointing. The last two times we came, the lobby was closed, so we had to take our food home instead of eating there. Then on our most recent visit, we ordered our food around 8:00 PM and were told they would be closing in 20 minutes. We got our food and left, but once again felt rushed. At this point, I'm honestly not sure what the lobby hours are anymore because we've visited three different times, and twice we were told the lobby was either closed or about to close it says on line they close at 10pm and the definitely not the truth. We really wanted to give Jilbertito's 5 stars because our first experience was so positive, but our last two visits have left us disappointed.

Very disappointed. Where is Jilbertito? I need to have a chat with him!
Lady taking order has the personality of a toad. usually when your customers greet you and say hello, how are you and you snippet say “fine” you usually ask them back how are you today but I guess basic greeting is too much for your type of people sorry to insult toads. I’m sorry to put you out giving you my business / money.
Staff in kitchen carrying on like a bunch of frat brats. Loud and obnoxious. Seriously!
The asada tacos are terrible. Menu says “large”. One For $4.50 that’s absurd. And they’re NOT large. Stingy on the asada and No flavor, very bland, buried under guacamole—if that’s what you want to call it. Also no flavor , just puréed avocado. You should be ashamed to call yourself a Mexican Restaurant.
Lastly, your dinging dining room should be shut down. When is the last time, IF EVER, you wiped down the booth seats, table legs or chairs, or walls. Covered in dust, grime and filth. Imagine what the kitchen looks like. 🤮 🤢
Don’t waste your money. Taco Smell would be better. Place is disgusting, food sucks, WAY overpriced and rude employees.
I ordered chicken burrito, and it wasn’t worth the price. It was way too salty
It's fire, gas, or whatever the kids say these days. The finest Mexican hole in the wall this side of the border.

A little bit pricey for a burrito, $18 I can sit down in a Mexican style cantina and get more food for the same price
