This place might need some updates, but the food was amazing, so was the service. The waiter was very attentive and the flavor was authentic mexican. Really sad to see the other bad reviews they've gotten, because they're a lot better than these folks make it out to be. Also think some of these people are a little uptight and unfortunately those are usually the ones to leave the reviews. But it was amazing for us & we were really surprised so just wanted to share that. 10/10 best mexican food in town

Visited this restaurant over the weekend on a trip to the hot springs, and it was AMAZING. Gotten to try a few Mexican restaurants in the area, since we come up from Denver often, and this is the best one. Absolutely amazing service, delicious food. We are used to authentic Mexican food and are usually picky when eating out for this reason, but this place really surprised us. SO easy to underestimate this spot compared to the flashy spots in town (we almost did, and have in the past) but this place is awesome. Totally understand that it might need a little TLC & if you’re just looking for a spot with a neon sign & the decorations behind it, not the place for you lol. But if you want real authentic food and some genuine & kind owners who truly value your business, this is the spot! I couldn’t recommend this place any more. We got the Margaritas Appetizer, Aguachiles, the Ribeye plate, Camarones à la Diabla, & some Margaritas (with freshly-squeezed lime you can clearly taste 💯) & it was all amazing, & they’re big portions too. Wish this place was closer to Denver so we could go more often!

Well, I wanted to like this place. Looking around, I decided to order fried foods because the restaurant is kind of...run down. Dirty? No pride in the place? So I got flautas and fries. My son got the taco salad. I got my food and could not eat the flautas. Ive attached photos. I should have sent it all back and left. I felt bad because there was only one person in the kitchen and one guy waiting tables/scrolling on his phone. Worst Mexican food I've had. So sad.

As a Hispanic myself who loves Tex Mex. This place was alright. Definitely Tex Mex but not real Mexican food. Our server literally walked out with his buddies. Never brought us our drinks again. I had to go ask for a refill before we left. Needs updating on furniture bc tables were not sturdy. Price was alright for the location. Burrito was filled with onions and barely any meat but cheese enchiladas were good. Rice was a little hard.
