Ashley the bartender is by far the friendliest and most attentive bartender I have ever had the pleasure of being served by, and I'm a Vegas local. This place has the greatest atmosphere and vibe in the whole town. It's a must stop

Considering it was the most bitter old fashioned I’ve ever had, it was way over priced. If you are going to order a bourbon drink, just order it neat.

Très bien situé pour les sources chaudes historiques et à pied dans le centre de la ville. J'ai apprécié d'avoir les robes à emporter aux sources. Le service était sympathique. Les voyageurs qui recherchent et apprécient l’histoire d’un lieu et souhaitent ainsi vivre une expérience hôtelière mémorable l’apprécieront. Ce n’est pas un excellent choix si vous aimez les fonctionnalités modernes et attendez ces commodités. (Glenwood Springs en lui-même n'est pas ce genre d'endroit de toute façon.) Vibe canalise Teddy Roosevelt - qui y a séjourné - alors attendez-vous à des boiseries, des photos décolorées et de la taxidermie. Tout semble « grand » à l'intérieur de l'hôtel - hauts plafonds, couloirs très larges, hall immense - et presque trop grand, alors attendez-vous à des vestiges de grandeur qui ne sont ni confortables ni haut de gamme.

Quel endroit magnifique et charmant pour se reposer ! J'ai été étonné de voir la largeur des couloirs. Vous ne trouvez pas cela dans un hôtel moderne ! Les escaliers m'ont donné l'impression d'être sur le Titanic ! Le mur d'eau du restaurant était incroyable ! Les lits étaient confortables, les draps moelleux et les oreillers fermes. J'ai séjourné à l'hôtel Colorado plusieurs fois depuis ma lune de miel en 1981. Je l’ai vu fluctuer, passant d’un besoin urgent de réparations et de mises à niveau à des améliorations qui dissimulaient simplement les problèmes les plus importants. L'hôtel a de nouveau atteint son apogée, florissant auprès des familles avec enfants et des couples amoureux. Le hall était plein d'énergie : des amis jouaient à des jeux de société et des couples étaient assis devant la cheminée. Et à l’extérieur, des foyers dans la magnifique cour étaient allumés et les arbres scintillaient de lumières blanches. La fontaine coulait à flots et l'étang était rempli de carpes koï et de nénuphars. L’architecture générale et le design de cet hôtel historique sont si attrayants et romantiques, c’est la raison pour laquelle j’ai apprécié mon séjour là-bas. Les chambres récemment rénovées intègrent des éléments modernes : électronique, literie et bien plus encore. Nos chambres étaient propres, joliment décorées et les lits étaient très confortables. Le personnel était très sympathique et aimable.

J'ai séjourné ici quand j'avais 10 ans et j'étais inquiet, compte tenu des autres critiques, du fait que cela aurait pu changer 35 ans plus tard. C’est le même hôtel incroyable qui vaut plusieurs fois le petit coût supplémentaire. Service incroyable. Lorsqu'on nous a donné une chambre différente de celle que nous avions réservée, ils nous ont surclassés dans une suite récemment rénovée. Le canapé-lit était plus confortable que la plupart des lits. Les hôtesses et la réception se souvenaient de nous chaque jour. Les prix du petit déjeuner sont plus que raisonnables pour un cadre aussi magnifique. Je peux aller sur. Réservez-le simplement.

Venue definitely well suited as a bar scene. Moved out to the voluptuous lobby which has fantastic light and a warm cozy atmosphere.

Hotel Colorado looks awfully pretty and historic at face value, but beware.. it has gone so far down hill since under new management it's like a rock slide. The food is expensive and greasy, beware if you order room serve, they add the tip PLUS about $15.00 for a "service fee." There are new hidden fees everywhere! You can hardly ever get the front desk on the phone, and worse still, this woman Kellen will lie to you at the drop of a hat. They actually lost a suitcase of mine that was being held at the hotel, which somehow was stolen or lost, never to be recovered.! How does that happen? Terribly run-a shame for sure

The hotel was impeccably clean. Even in transition, the beauty and history are transporting and inspirational. I've never stayed in such a romantic room. I was very impressed with every aspect of my stay. The bananas foster crepes and hashbrown casserole were delicious. The water was always hot, the room was always quiet and the radiators were a fun learning experience. The front desk employees were very helpful. Ivy at the front desk and Thomas the shuttle driver were especially helpful. Also, a maintenance man with a big beard, whose name I did not catch. I loved their enthusiasm to share information about the hotel and town. We stayed in Room 441 and the view was perfect. One morning we saw mountain sheep on the hillside and late one night we went ghost hunting in the hotel.

Angel at the front desk ran my card 4 times billing me $50 each, told me it was declined, ran a second and a third card saying it declined. I asked if she could use another reader because all three cards were good, she made me get in the back of the next line. I called my card all charges accepted. It took a manager and supervisor to correctly read the system showing all the charges that were applied. Nothing was offered to compensate, no apology from Angel. Kind of ruined this hotel for me.

Angel at the front desk was so kind and friendly. She was always available to help assist and answer questions. Thomas is also a credit to your hotel. His deft driving skills and pleasant attitude was appreciated. The hotel itself is undergoing renovations so it's a bit noisy and antiquated, hence the deduction of 1 star but overall, it was our second visit and we will come back!

Wonderful weekend stay, in Glenwood Springs. The hotel was perfect for us, after skiing in Winter Park. The location was excellent, and the shuttle service was outstanding. We could walk almost everywhere. The hotel is beautiful and historic. The staff went above and beyond.

I thoroughly enjoyed the hotel from the lobby to the lounge and adored the rooms. What a pleasant surprise to see the hotel still decorated for Christmas. The beds were comfortable. The room was very clean. The bar and restaurant staff were excellent. I would absolutely recommend this for families as well as couples or singles.

We booked our stay here just to be able to say we stayed at the famous hotel. We are frequent visitors to Glenwood and surrounding area. We were so impressed by the staff and the wonderful customer service. We enjoyed lounging around the lobby area and outside on the pathways. Breakfast in their dining area was very good. Their bar was friendly with great service and friendly patrons. We will definitelystay here again.
