Great flavors, the cocktails are decent.
It’s small inside with not a lot of tables and it’s always busy! My top tip is to order food to takeout and then go round the corner to Casey’s Brewing and enjoy your food with one of their excellent beers!

Ordered takeout from here
It was absolutely awesome! The breading on the calamari was perfect, the whole meal was guilt-free nutritionally speaking, and you do get a lot of food.

Small place, but has the best fish tacos in the US. We stayed in town for two days and we eat here three times.

Their hours aren’t accurate, but they have great food.
It’s 8:15, website says they close at 9:00, but the closed sign on the door. Pretty disappointed
Delicious and unique tacos

On a recent trip out of state, my daughter and I were on the hunt for some local flavor and stumbled across Slope & Hatch. The spot is small, but it has that kind of welcoming vibe that makes you want to settle in and stay awhile. We decided on a couple of coney dogs and couldn’t resist the fries—and wow, those fries are the real deal. Crispy, perfectly seasoned, and addictive enough that we probably could’ve ordered a second round. The coney dogs were decent, but as we looked around, it became clear the tacos are what everyone seems to rave about. The staff was super friendly and made the whole experience that much better. If you’re a local who hasn’t tried it yet—or just passing through like we were—Slope & Hatch is worth putting on your list.

This place has a great business model. Simple menu of easy, quick to prepare foods, minimal labor (order at the counter and self-service tableware, etc ) and fast turnover in a small space. The ginormous tacos were quite good. And more than we could eat. There are a few local beers on tap but many others in cans. It's a hoot and it's right downtown.

My review is based per usual solely on the ease of getting my wife fed as she is celiac. The person working the counter didn't feel to truly know what was gluten free and what was not. If you know Celiac, you know it's not fun to play a guessing game. We asked for no cheese (dairy intolerant), the nachos came out with a huge pile of cheese on them. When we brought them back, it was THEN revealed that the chips had been fried in the same fryer as the fish. Just an unacceptable gluten free Celiac experience.
Jerk chicken tacos were good tho.

I actually didn't even go in. Top much liberal propaganda tapes to windows. I feel like I wouldn't be welcomed there.
