We were in the downtown looking for a great place to eat quality for your buck! We are a family of 4. This place was some of the best barbecue I’ve ever had! We got the fried pickles -best I’ve ever had they come with a homemade honey mustard. We did the three meat combo super quality for your $$buck! Great service and we sat outside in the patio where they gave free live music on Fridays! All the side options were so yummy. We recommend the Brisket, Pulled Pork,and dry rub...

Our server recommended a unique appetizer that was not on the printed menus. It was pork belly with watermelon and peaches and cucumber. It was all smoked and marinated and served in a bowl and it was extremely delicious. The brisket was soft and tender. It could have used more flavor and seasonings, it seems very neutral and not enough flavor for sure but their bbq sauce for dipping was available. 💁

Despite being called modern BBQ, this place served great classic BBQ. I think they call it modern for the decor...not eating on picnic tables/benches.
I had the pulled pork sandwich and my husband the brisket plate. The sides of slaw and baked beans were excellent.
We would definitely eat here again.
