I ordered hot chocolate. It was literally water with color and cream on top. They changed it for me when I told the waiter it wasn't right. The second one was already better.
My wife ordered coffee and it was super cold. For lunch she ordered a breakfast sandwich and they served it with a hash brown that was super burnt and impossible to eat.
It has been an unpleasant experience as far as food goes... And I am a frequent customer since I live in the area.

Appreciate the staff being willing to work on Thanksgiving. This was the only place open with a reasonably priced breakfast. Everyone was very polite and pleasant considering they had to spend at least part of their holiday away from their loved ones.

Having no Village Inns where I now live, I knew I needed to stop by and experience their always incredible Chocolate Cream Pie! Did not disappoint!!
My server was the best. She has a great personality and I enjoyed our chats.
The entire staff could not have been kinder.
Wheelchair accessibility: I’m not in a wheelchair but I use a walker. Everything was totally accessible. I had no issues at all.

Nice friendly place to go & visit with family & friends - of course great pies & real ice cream milk shakes!
- Love the remodel & the giant wall picture of Glenwood Canyon. You vould take a selfie in front of it & look like you were in the canyon. Also the framed pictures on the far wall of the Maroon Bells & other Colorado shots.
Recommended dishes: Strawberry Crepes with Sausage Bacon and Hash Browns, Eggs Benedict, California Skillet, Key Lime Pie, Lemon Meringue Pie Slice

5 stars for the service. The atmosphere is what you'd expect from a Village Inn, and it was clean. The food... not so sure. The chicken fried steak tasted bad, like it was old or frozen and warmed over and over. I don't think they fried it due to how the breading was... so it must've been microwaved. So lame. The eggs over easy were not completely cooked, the whites were runny. The hashbrowns were few on the plate, soggy instead of crispy. The strawberry shake was small and cost over $6. I skipped the pie due to the price. Wait staff was very good even tho you gotta ask for water. One weird thing... 1 cook kept coming out onto the floor to see who was ordering what, kinda creepy and I'm guessing it was for nefarious reasons. Gross.

The staple of Glenwood springs breakfast. If you get there early you'll be in better shape than it if you're there around 9:00. When the place gets busy the service and food turns to crap. Nothing special your typical rushed breakfast and maybe you'll get extra coffee if you're lucky when they're not busy. Probably the only breakfast place in Glenwood that's close to the hotels. So if you're staying in Glenwood you'll probably end up eating at village inn for breakfast.
